Many many folks who are really not serious about returning and have doubts about it put the blame on the kids. Remember - kids - regardless of their age they are the first to adjust and start enjoying their life in the new place. Yes they crib little. When doesn’t they crib? Cribbing is their birthright. It’s us the adults who should stop cribbing. Why it’s difficult for adults compared to kids to return are the comforts our bodies get used to and as we are aging our bodies crave for comforts. And biggest to the last - no wife wants MIL nearby, forget about living the same home.

Make some video on the medical facility in UK or US. UK ka toh bohot bekaar system hai. Aaj call karenge toh 1 month ya 40 din baad ka appointment milta hai. For smallest things you have to call… private doctors are the most expensive here….
India is much much much better in terms of getting urgent medical or doctor appointments…. Not sure of US or Canada…. How is it there ?

HI Hemant Bhai, your videos are really informative and provides insights about one goes through the dilemma when living aboard life as Foreigner..!!!
I have couple of questions related to same topic with an extension..!
    - In most cases its comes out like indians from US or Sweden but however did you have any feedback or call from any indians living in germany and thinking about moving back to india ..? what were there challenges..?
    - secondly it would be great if you make videos on OCI card holders childrens education in india, its understood that OCI card holders children should pay more fees than indian citizens (for undergraduate....etc), if this is the case then only parents can have citizens and excempting children from giving up indian citizenship, in these cases will it make any sense to take any other citizenship..apart from having luxury of free visa travel across world..!!!

Broadly i am glad that someone is talking about the NRI life in this way.
Kids are really important factor in making the decision , when I was in grade 7 , my education medium was switched from English to Hindi , now all my books math , science etc were changed in Hindi from English, I couldn’t understand the terminologies also and for 1-2 years and struggled a lot , from English medium kids were suppose to talk to each other as classmates also in English , and I had that habit when I speak with others in Hindi medium also and they used to feel shocked and started avoiding some also made fun of me , till date I do remember that phase and it shaped a lot on my personality , and similar experience can be seen in society when kids change school or cities etc.
my kids are in grade 4 and grade 2 in canada , I feel they would have to go through same cultural shock if I make such decision , not generalizing it also depends on individual kids and support system around from family and others , it could be simple or could be very difficult giving life long mental impact to the kid… my point is kids age , emotional strength , adaptability , should be understood there is no “one size fit all” kind of decisions in these matters

So much corruption. You have to pay bribe at every level.. For people like us, it is double edge sword....
