In India life is a celebration.
Outside India it's much mechanical and formal.
Many many folks who are really not serious about returning and have doubts about it put the blame on the kids. Remember - kids - regardless of their age they are the first to adjust and start enjoying their life in the new place. Yes they crib little. When doesn’t they crib? Cribbing is their birthright. It’s us the adults who should stop cribbing. Why it’s difficult for adults compared to kids to return are the comforts our bodies get used to and as we are aging our bodies crave for comforts. And biggest to the last - no wife wants MIL nearby, forget about living the same home.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 most of times wives think more about themselves rather than thinking rationally.. they are more difficult to get convinced than kids..lol
Its not about blaming kids. my kid is in high school in usa, how can he go and adjust to the syllabus in India?are thee any schools in India that do not have Indian language in school? How he will pass the 10th grade if he doesn’t know the language and other subjects?
@@vishatubeful you cant say this when you are just guest in USA..you can not give exexuse when your parents want you there for help..will you say kids wont adjust so in old age you manage yourself..
absolutely true sir. We are also planning to move back .Your videos being very helpful.
Sir apke points boht clear aur precise he. I am an nri and have similar thoughts.
Thank you sir. Aapke videos acche hai kaafi
Thanks buddy
uncle gi aap ye videos banate rahiye bohot badhiya perspective milta hai
Agar bache 2-3 saal ke hi honge toh wapas aane mein bohot easy padega ... 5 years tak bhi kaafi easy hota hai but after that the difficulty increases ... So if u r planning to come back take decisions quickly in a month or 2 and come back don't slag your decision making process till it's late to come back
Very informative, Hemant !
Thank you 👍
Hemant ji..aaapka video Dekh Kar bahut information milti hai...meine kal hi aapko subscribe Kiya hai..aur abhi tak ek do video chod Kar saari videos Dekhi hai...hum abhi 9 months pehle UK shift hue Hain...But achha Nahi lag Raha hai..mera beta abhi 3 saal Ka hai....sirf pasion ki wajh se rukna pad Raha hai...hamara greater Noida mein flat bhi hai ..
Uttarakhand ( dehradun)mein bhi prime location mein bada Ghar hai...sab Kuch hote hue bhi aise Lagta hai ek bete Ka future aur apna old age kaise thik Hoga
If your financial needs are already met then you should enjoy stay in UK as much as you can and then come back at right time so that your son can adept
I am in the US and have a 2 year old daughter, i have same feelings that she should enjoy with her cousins like I did in summer vacations. She is traveling to india currently and I see such a stark change in her behavior due to all the interactions she is getting. Love all your videos , very honest and to the point.
Thanks buddy
Mr. Joshi, you kid will be fine in India as she havent started the school yet. But if she is in school for few years in US, it is better to go with a plan that you will complete rest of schooling in India.
@@pramodnvm Thanks Pramod for your suggestion.
HI Hemant Bhai, your videos are really informative and provides insights about one goes through the dilemma when living aboard life as Foreigner..!!!
I have couple of questions related to same topic with an extension..!
- In most cases its comes out like indians from US or Sweden but however did you have any feedback or call from any indians living in germany and thinking about moving back to india ..? what were there challenges..?
- secondly it would be great if you make videos on OCI card holders childrens education in india, its understood that OCI card holders children should pay more fees than indian citizens (for undergraduate....etc), if this is the case then only parents can have citizens and excempting children from giving up indian citizenship, in these cases will it make any sense to take any other citizenship..apart from having luxury of free visa travel across world..!!!
Broadly i am glad that someone is talking about the NRI life in this way.
Kids are really important factor in making the decision , when I was in grade 7 , my education medium was switched from English to Hindi , now all my books math , science etc were changed in Hindi from English, I couldn’t understand the terminologies also and for 1-2 years and struggled a lot , from English medium kids were suppose to talk to each other as classmates also in English , and I had that habit when I speak with others in Hindi medium also and they used to feel shocked and started avoiding some also made fun of me , till date I do remember that phase and it shaped a lot on my personality , and similar experience can be seen in society when kids change school or cities etc.
my kids are in grade 4 and grade 2 in canada , I feel they would have to go through same cultural shock if I make such decision , not generalizing it also depends on individual kids and support system around from family and others , it could be simple or could be very difficult giving life long mental impact to the kid… my point is kids age , emotional strength , adaptability , should be understood there is no “one size fit all” kind of decisions in these matters
It was true few years back but not now ...india has such schools in almost all big cities where u will find NRI kids and level of education quite high though u need to pay big fees....my son is comfortable and happy
Make some video on the medical facility in UK or US. UK ka toh bohot bekaar system hai. Aaj call karenge toh 1 month ya 40 din baad ka appointment milta hai. For smallest things you have to call… private doctors are the most expensive here….
India is much much much better in terms of getting urgent medical or doctor appointments…. Not sure of US or Canada…. How is it there ?
I have made video for medical system in US and Sweden.....please watch my previous videos
Hemant ji. Good morning. Sunke bahut aacha laga. Good one.
Morning dost......
I think kids is the issue for me. I do not have any doubt that kids can settle in India only if you go back with a mindset and plan that you will stay till your kids complete school/college in India. You do not want to just try a year or two.
your video reaching me very late in life for me.. missed it
Hi..you mean because of staying for far too long? If I may ask, how long and what issues you think people would face? Thanks in advance.
nice man
Sir ek or detailed video bnao
Regarding nri perception for india and reality
Sure Varun
Very true..
Nice session
Thanks Rahul
Hello Hemant Bhai can we connect have few questions I can text as well your videos are pretty informative.
@vivektripathi sure , you can call me on Instagram at hemantdubey79
Please tell us about your career in India. Do you still work in IT, or own a business or even better, have retired early to enjoy life ?
I work in IT....I will publish some podcast soon about myself
How old were your kids? How easy it was for them to make friends in school, near home?
my kid is in high school in USA and he is doing really good (gets Gold honors every year), how can he go and adjust to the syllabus in India?are there any schools in India that do not have Indian language in school? How he will pass the 10th grade if he doesn’t know the language and other subjects?
Hi Hemant bhai,
I am living in Stockholm, Sweden and have decided to move back to India with my wife and 2 children. I have Swedish citizenship but with OCI ideally I should be able to work from India, and hopefully get my Indian citizenship back in some years.
My challenge is to find a job in India. I have been applying for jobs in India, but not getting any response. Can you suggest something or make a video with your thoughts on this topic.
I really appreciate your videos. So genuine and you explain exactly the same situations that I am living in now.
Try to upload resume in top IT companies websites along with Naukri.com also you may take paid membership of job websites......try to decrease your expected CTC
Thanks Hemant bhai for response.
Why don’t you start something of your own instead of making it again in IT?
@@sushiljain2123 doing something on my own requires capital. And not everyone living abroad hits a fortune, unfortunately.
My daughter is in grade 2. we are planning after 2 years to come back to India. What you suggest? Thanks
It depends on your financial goals, job nature and other factors..... You may contact me on Instagram at hemantdubey79
Main to pda likha nhi hu bhaiya. 12 pass hu bas. Taxi chalta hu yahan me. Wapis aa karke ka karenge. Tanik btawa. Aap sabhu to pade likhe bhartiye hain hum jaisa Anpad aadmi ka kare wapis aa ke. Wapis aana bhi chahte hain. Kripya btawa bhaiya.
My daughter is 6 years is it too late now for her to adapt in india? She is currently in elementary school in USA
It's not late yet....plan within 1 year
I do not think you should have option B. Because India has its own struggle. After having lived in US, sometime it will be difficult to assimilate in society..Like I purchased a house in Delhi.. So much corruption. You have to pay bribe at every level.. For people like us, it is double edge sword....
no corruption in other states.
even he has lived in the USA he doesn't complain
AAP kitne saal the bahar ? Aur kaunsi country mein?
6 years....US and Sweden
Is it possible to share your Instagram id?
I tried to search but couldn’t find it
@ankitadevgirikar5371 my Instagram id is "staycalmstaybeautiful"
8:12 Ladki ka chakkar hai baabu bhaiya 😅
How did your kid adapt to Hindi reading and writing... My kid is in grade 1 in Europe..but not have Hindi in his curriculum.. I am planning to move back when he is in grade 3 ..
Make him practice with some Hindi books from india
You can teach Hindi at home...I have taught my kid writing skill rather than speaking. They will learn very quickly at young age. Please reach out for more detail.
US and Indian education system are poll apart, not comparable , many people just live in US to provide excellent education to kids, your video was biased and didnt covered many other aspects of bringing kids back to india
My videos are not for them who are happily settled abroad......this for whom are in dilemma
really🤣 top IVY league colleges are dropping SAT scores so that dump white people can get admissions India is the future
It is the worst possible thing you can do to your children. Immigration is not the answer.
really🤣 top IVY league colleges are dropping SAT scores so that dump white people can get admissions India is the future
I am interested in finding out why do you say so? Could you elaborate? Thanks
@@sumithiran9854 They look Indian and will never belong. The second generation have always had it worse than their parents...who were economic refugees. They don't know how to live in India.
