I got Lombard Roudsbout twice on my practical driving test in Mitcham I felt confident just had to not second guess myself and when I saw a gap just commit fully 100 percent
I feel like it should be like a safe word. If i want to continue the test, let me, but if I want to turn back because I failed, I should be aloud too as well lol 😅
Giving is a star, I had my driving test with him, I failed off course lol.. he seemed more disappointed than me .. I'm glad I failed because my instructor certainly didn't prepared me for the road, now I'm with a new driving instructor. So gavin I'm coming back let's hope you'll be my examiner..
No, I would want to stop right there and ideally the examiner would drive back to the test centre - I assume that's the case no? since a fail means the driver is not fit for the road...
Yes but only forward bay park. The DVSA are looking to change this rule but currently you can only do a reverse bay park in a test centres own car park if they have one.
@@DrivingSchoolTV They changed the rules! The DVSA sent out the following email in May: From 9 May DVSA will assess the reverse park into a parking bay manoeuvre on driving tests at non-DVSA car parks. This will allow the reverse manoeuvre to be assessed at all driving test centres, not just those with their own car park. The reverse manoeuvre will not be assessed on every test. The way our driving examiners assess the reverse manoeuvre is not changing.
Ah you must be a driving instructor LP! Glad to have you on board 😊 you’re right there was a consultation and they’re looking to change this but it hasn’t happened yet.
@@DrivingSchoolTV Ohhh I see. I'm not a driving instructor but I thought they used the word 'assess' as in they're assessing learners to do the reverse bay park manoeuvre.
You could do that! But the thing is if you come half out and a car comes from the right and you’re blocking the road it’s a PROBLEM! I’d play it safe and wait but also listen to your instructor 😊 thats why you pay them the big bucks lol 😉
29:42 when a pedestrian is waiting on that thing on the right, do you have to give way to the pedestrian as the driver or is it okay to keep going as it's not an official crossing?
Hey Mariama! That’s an island not a crossing so you shouldn’t treat it like a crossing. Be wary of them stepping out though and be ready to stop if necessary!
An entertaining video. It's such a shame about your unprofessional comments about the learner waiting at the junction. It maybe worth noting that a driving test has certain requirements that must take place in order for it to be valid. If the test can't be completed, it won't be marked as a pass or a fail. You both seemed a bit confused about the indicators and signals. There are different types of signal. The Indicator is one type, so is your position etc. Hope this helps. Thank you for the content.
@@DrivingSchoolTV thank you! I do have the rescue remedy, so i will definitely be taking that before. Just can’t wait to be passed! You helped me pass first time on my theory test!
I love how you guys said the learner is gona take fucking ages to turn but you guys had to wait as well for ages for a safe gap🤷♀️😂
I’ve passed today! First time! In my VW Mk1 ‘98 golf. Your videos were so helpful! 😊
SWAP SEATS!
great video Francis, you're an awesome teacher
I will definitely be sure to give Francis a spot in the drivers seat with another mock soon 😁
Francis & laura both are good driver and helping all of learner with life long Driving skills Thanks!
Using no gas at 7:55 is very interesting. That clutch is powerful
She was giving gas?
This was very much needed!
Thank you for your videos in mitcham 💐💐💐💐

I passed with Gavin almost 9 years ago. He was so cool 😊

😂 pineapple I want to go home!!
I got test booked for December am hoping I pass first time
Best of luck!
Wishing you a successful test!
Best of luck, you've got plenty of time till then.
Thanks for the good luck
@@rbeng1095 did you pass ?
Omg Leroy was my examiner who passed me, he was great☺️

😂 this is so much vibes
62 pound for a test? thats a deal man, here in the Netherlands we have to pay 250 euros per test
I'm pretty sure Tom Tom was named after the drums native Americans used for communicating
I’ve learnt something new today, thanks!
@@laurathornton84 any time 😉
When Francis answered the phone 😂
Love love these two ❤❤
In modern , couldn't you still get bay park if they ask you to turn in one of the nearby car parks?
Yes but only forward bay park. The DVSA are looking to change this rule but currently you can only do a reverse bay park in a test centres own car park if they have one.

Omg, is my instructor dodgy then? Because he’s told me to use his car for the test, it’s gonna be £150!!
It’s a Mercedes if that’s any different?
Next year in 2023 when I’m ready for my driving test I would want you to be my driving instructor ☺️
Same
I wonder why you didnt go half way to the exit of Mitcham test center,my instructor tells me I can if my right is free??
You can! But if a vehicle comes from your right and you block them off it’s a big problem.
So is it not a good idea to edge forward when one side of the junction is clear?
It’s not a good idea to edge passed the give way line unless you can’t see right or left!
@@DrivingSchoolTV yet my instructor insists I come half out if one side is clear 😭

I have my test in Nov. If i failed i hope i dnt have to wait 6 monthd, would be insane ....🙄🙄
is Laura a instructor or examiner
She’s an instructor!
Love video
I’ve got my test in October! So nervous
Good luck with it! Why are you nervous? is it at mitcham?
@@DrivingSchoolTV No! I’m from Stoke on Trent, but I have general anxiety. But I’ll just own it if I fail and try again 😊
You could try rescue remedy or kalms! Supermarkets have it. Look it up! It’s natural not medical and it could help to take a bit of anxiety off 😊

Take a magic banana with you!! Potassium levels in banana help nerves and anxiety. Works a treat.
I have got my test 1st November hopefully I pass this time 😅
