だいぶお待たせしているショベルリジッドを進めていきます。
今回はソロシートの取り付け。
使用するソロシートはワンズワーカーさんのもので、汎用品のものになります。表皮は本革なので、汎用品とは言ってもとても良い質感で仕上げられています。
使用するブラケットはビルトウェルの製品です。
高いですが、とても質感が良くて気に入っている商品です。
シートスプリングがはまる部分も拘って組付け。
一つ一つの組付けを丁寧に仕上げるだけで、汎用品の部品でも非常にかっこよく取り付けすることが可能です。
We are going to proceed with the shovel rigid that has been waiting for quite a while.
This time, we will install the solo seat.
The solo seat we will be using is from One's Worker and is a generic one. The leather surface is genuine leather, so even though it is a generic product, it is finished with a very good texture.
The brackets used are from Biltwell.
They are expensive, but I like them because they have a very good quality.
The part where the seat spring fits is also carefully assembled.
By carefully finishing each assembly, it is possible to make a very cool installation even with general-purpose parts.

When I was a teenager, I worked in a bicycle store, and I made my own steel racing bicycle frame using only braising, no welds (traditional style, but normal at that time). It was cool seeing you using that technique. I felt nostalgic! Thank you!

You deciding to braze rather then weld shouldn't surprise anyone, it is after all the way all older frames were assembled.

Nice Build, but I do Not understand why you put the two seat mounts straight on the frame, when you install the saddle the Springs bend in a strange angle 🤷♂️
Thanks for your comment! It's more difficult for the spring to catch and pull out if it's angled slightly.
