It had started as a rather good day: Shinki had decided to surprise her daughter, Alice Margatroid, with a visit, only to find a note on her door explaining that she was at some place called the "Scarlet Devil Mansion." After asking for directions, Shinki and Yumeko managed to find their way to the building where they were informed by Remilia Scarlet, the mistress of the Mansion, that Alice was currently running an arcane experiment together with a witch named Patchouli and that girl who had invaded Makai all those years ago, Marisa, and they had explicitly instructed the Scarlet Devil's maid, Sakuya, that they must not be disturbed until they were done. Deciding to wait until her daughter came up on her own, Shinki and Remilia sat down to have a spot of afternoon tea... and that's when it happened. The young mistress had turned to her maid, Sakuya Izayoi, and asked her to go put some tea on the stove and bring some cookies up for them to enjoy while they waited for the water to start boiling. When Sakuya came back up with the cookies no more than five seconds later, she found that woman, *that bitch,* Yumeko, the maid of the Goddess of Makai, pouring Remilia, *her* mistress, a cup of tea; the table being already covered in plates of cookies and pastries of all kinds imaginable... Shinki explained that Yumeko, her greatest creation, had been bestowed with the ability to manipulate existence: She could create anything out of thin air, be it weapons and danmaku or sweets and teapots full with hot, red tea. On top of this she could also bring herself to the brink of non-existence and "phase" through reality if she so desired. The two maids locked eyes. A smug smile tugged at the side of Yumeko's lips, or so Sakuya, barely being able to keep her old blood from boiling over, thought she saw... Maybe Remilia herself noticed her maid's eyes flickering red for a moment, for out of the blue she graciously thanked Yumeko for the superb feast of sweets and top grade tea she had bestowed upon them whereupon she then dismissed the two maids with a comment that the two should leave her and her honoured guest to enjoy their fika alone, adding that while she and Shinki were having their tea and waiting for Alice to be done with her experiment, surely the two of them could exchange trade secrets between maids. And so, with a short bow, the two servants turned around and left their mistresses to enjoy their afternoon while they settled things between each other. No matter how big the Scarlet Devil Mansion was, and no matter how much bigger Sakuya had made it internally with her own powers, it would never be big enough for the two of them. Moral of this story: Don't leave the stove on and then forget to turn it off when you get yourself into a heated duel with an all new nemesis unless you want the Scarlet Devil Mansion to go down in flames and the whole story to become a Touhou manga.

That was actually a really cute and rather funny story, and incredibly detailed as well! Great work!
