      Thank you. This shows his progression and hard work. Dimash has said in an interview, it is 1% Talent and 99% Hard work. If you don't do the work, the Talent is wasted.

    I didn't know about Dimash until recently here and another channel. I never thought a human being could achieve this level of singing ability. He is also such a good looking guy with such super star presence and image that is honest and true.

    He very much sounds like his dad here, with the nasal sound that I think is very common in the country. He has definitely changed richness of his voice with education and maturity.

    Great reaction and analysis. Aktobe is a city where Dimash was born. I think the performance was in 2008 but the video was published in 2009. I love his young voice here, it's flowing and free, but also shows he's not an alien like we want to think, he worked really hard to be where he's today. I also like his stage presence, his facial expressions are everything :-)

    One thing that I think pretty crazy is, at this age, actually Dimash usually sang in higher register.. Soprano range.. So I think this is one of his first few songs that he sing in normal register.. So it could be actually uncomfortable for him at this time as he has high voice when he was a kid.. Haha
    And yes for your question!
    He needs to be a singer!! And actually thanks to Dimash most of all because he, from child believes that he will be a singer. 😉

    It's so nice to see your reaction! Your expert understanding is always appriciated by me, because it makes me realise the commitment and the hard work Dimash had to do to get to where he is now. Given talent is one thing, but he cherished and developed his skills to perfection. It also tells me just how much he must love music, to be this committed. Someone said, he must have trained like he had no talent. Thank you! Please check his new song, Okay. I really want to hear your take on it.
    All the best from Aussie land.

    Dimash’s last name, Qudaibergen means Given by God, and his grandma predicted this would happen before he was born.
    So, yes, Dimash is right in his destiny as was ordained, and his frequencies bring healing and refreshment to the aware.
    He was meant to be in place for this time.
    His life reflects his duty and purpose like no other.

  • @teame51
    @teame51 2 года назад +17

    I'm really appreciating this perspective, H!! Those of us who have followed Dimash for a few years have become more comfortable, I hope, with the thought that even Dimash is involved with autotune, a "tool" that helps music be more polished, more accurate. After all, he is working on his PhD in musicology, so how could he not become adept at using this tool? We know he doesn't need help being the brilliant musician he is; we also know that he is an expert technician, learning the fine points of many, many excellent support systems in the music industry.

    • @DiaLinwen
      @DiaLinwen 2 года назад +2

      Actually, Dimash doesn't use autotune in his own recordings. I don't know based on what knowledge you are saying that. Sometimes, in rare cases, TV shows, mostly in China, add it because they are used to doing it, but it certainly doesn't improve his sound. i suggest to watch a true professional analysis of an expert in spectral programs explaining the different uses of autotune and in what rare cases and for what purposes it is added to Dimash, while showing everything on a spectrogram, before you talk about things you don't really know.

    People think he's an alien, but seeing early Dimash here and in other videos, it is very clear, that this boy/man has worked his A** off for decades to achieve what he now has!!! He deserves it ALL!!! ❤ When DQ was young he sounds VERY much like his father's singing...more nasal, more in the bridge of the nose.....just like Dad!!!!

    This was at ~age 14. He had been in vocal+piano school for 9 years. The following year, he started Classical training (Bel Canto). And the rest is history :)
    Regarding doing something else - in an interview Dimash was asked when did he knew he wanted to sing. He replied : "When does a child develop first memories ? Age 1 ? 2 ? Since then"

    Yes, you are right: Dimash wanted to be a singer from very young age. And he is and will be untill the end of his life. But I also can imagine him doing additional stuff like teaching, acting, making films what he partially did already. I think he is versatile not only in music styles. And he is keen on developping and trying new things. So let`s see what`s awaiting us... :)

    Igazad van, ha Dimash mást csinálna, mi vesztenénk a legtöbbet. Akadtak ellenzői /ellenségnek is mondhatnám/ otthon is és más országban is. Ennek a korának környékén énekelte egy versenyen otthon /Zash Kanat 2015./ a saját dalát, My beauty /Korkemim/, a zsűri egyes tagjai nagyon felháborítóan bírálták, pedig csodásan énekelt. Egy másik riportban meg arról beszélt, hogy fellépése előtt bement az öltözőbe, mert ott maradt a vize, és ivott egy kortyot. rögtön szédült, émelygett, valaki valamit beletett a vízébe, de nem otthon történt, és nem szóltak senkinek, mert nemzetközi botrány lehetett volna. Szerintem ezért megy vele a családja mindenhova, mert azóta csak bennük bízik meg. Greetings from Hungary!

    Здравствуйте,
    Я Вас уважаю, наблюдаю за Вашими реакциями 5 лет. Мне больше нравились самые первые реакции, когда Вы честно анализировали чудесный голос Димаша.
    НО, в потом, последнее время Вы начали говорить, что Димаш использует автонастройки и автотюн.
    Мне, кажется, Вы так считаете из - за того, что вокруг Вас многие делают так и Вам комфортно думать, ну, ведь все так делают, значит, и Димаш тоже так делает.
    Правда состоит в том, что Димаш не занимается такими автонастройками своего голоса (кстати, Вы были хотя бы на одном концерте Димаша? Димаш дал множество концертов в Европе - Германии, Чехии, Британии, Украине, Риге, Франции (его приглашали выступать на телевидении), США, Арабские Эмираты -Дубае, Индии, не говоря о том, что в Казахстане он дал уже 2 концерта. В 2023 году Димаш даст ещё несколько концертов - Армении, Малайзии и др.
    Обязательно послушайте Димаша вживую, тогда Вы перестанете утверждать, что он использует автонастройки своего голоса.
    5 лет назад, я был подписан на Вас, но после таких слов отписался.
    Сегодня зашёл послушать и узнать изменили ли Вы свое мнение, но вот опять Вы говорите об автотюне Димаша.
    Вы должны знать, что Димаш родился и вырос в небольшом городе Актобе, это провинциальный город, и нравы там простые: мужчина (парень) должен петь низким, мужским голосом, не использовать высокие ноты (Димаш говорил, что в детстве и подростком ему часто останавливались на улице парни и упрекали его за высокие ноты:"Что ты поешь как девчонка? Чтоб больше не пел так!",
    поэтому он старался петь очень низко.) Возможно, поэтому, Вы услышали, что он переделываем свой голос????
    Эту песню он исполнил на концерте в Актобе вживую, запись делалась на пленку государственным телевидением, и в маленьком советском городе, в 2007 году, про автотюн вообще не слышали.
    ВОЗМОЖНО, я допускаю, что эту старую, пленочную запись видео обработали (оцифровали?) перед тем, как загрузить на канал Ютуба.
    С приветом из Казахстана.

    Смотрела я этого педагога и становилось смешно.
    В Казахстане, в Актюбинске, в 2008 году, когда только-только выправлялись после "чудесных" 90-х, на детском концерте якобы использовали автотюн.
    Как же повезло Димашу, что его учителем был Марат Айтимов, педагог от бога, действительно любящий своих учеников, раскрывающий в них самое лучшее, а не такие самовлюбленные и самоуверенные ценители.

    I agree about hearing the natural voice ("imperfections") is more enjoyable. Dimash has perfect pitch and had been performing on stage for most of his life so doing the Auto-Tune post-performance is not necessary. And it most likely wasn't Dimash's decision.

    What I noticed the most was that he already showed evidence that his natural voice is a baritone and all the high notes that came later fit that "natural" baritone perfectly. Glad you noted the use of auto-tune, but way too much time and attention was used to talk about this. It got pretty boring and irritating. The overall reaction was great, as always.

    Very good analysis, I always watch your videos 🥰. I can only note that the details of some sounds in his words may not be due to auto-tune, but due to the phonetics of his language. I have been studying the Kazakh language for a couple of years and the sounds of its vowels and consonants are different from ours, there are letters that we do not know in our alphabet. I can tell you they sound that different... My greetings form Chile 🇨🇱 🌎

    Yes, you can see here bits of who he is today. A major difference (beside puberty, thus range and all that) is the nasality of the sound which he lost. Classic training did that, I guess. I believe it has to do with the Khazak language, it sounds nasal in speech too, and I've heard a similar type of sound in his parents' singing or other Khazak singers.
    Also, he said in a interview that he has never considered anything else for a career. As much as I'm to sports, I appreciate he gave up taekwondo and other stuff for music. He's meant for it.
    P.S. Don't worry, I talk A LOT too about what I like. I could do it for hours.

    He was good and boys have nature to work against during this part of a male singers development. But seeing him at 14 makes me appreciate his countryperson's abilities at the same age. I am speaking of course of Daneliya Tuleshova. Dimash has said that Daneliya is a 'National Treasure'. And Daneliya obviously thinks Dimash is the best. I don't know if you are aware of Miss Tuleshova who will be 16 in July, but she has had the kind of success that legends are made of. She is one of a group of up and coming singers who have embraced the lower voices that gives them a sound of a much older and polished singer. I want to give you a link to her first cover song after her run on AGT 2020. It is a Birdy song from a movie called, 'The Fault In Our Stars' called, 'Not About Angels'. Just listen to it and if you like it check her out. Oh, she was just 14 when she did this video.

    You don't for sure that Dimash has a slight congenital malformation that causes obstruction and has been deviating his nasal septum through his life. In addition to that taekwondo practicing made some damage too. For those reasons, he has had to undergo surgery twice since he was a child, but it hasn't completely solved the problem and he will still have to get another surgery, although he is avoiding it by all means. I just luuuuuuvvvv when he sings in Kazakh, love it then and love it now. Then he was already almost six feet tall so his neck was long enough to have a very good ser of vocal cords. You are completely wrong, that recording wasn't autotuned at all. Not then, not now, maybe the sound was enhanced to eliminate unwanted noises but his pitch was just perfect. You really need to hear more from Dimash. Peace✌️

    Little Dimash! So skinny! And all the ingredients for building on already in place. Bearing in mind also that starting at 5, and here at age 14, he'd already had vocal training for 9 years! {Nb.That was weird... Who ran on stage and handed him something right at the end? How distracting! or was it a hankie! } As for Kebek... I think knowledge of the backstory is assumed, unless there were a lot more verses that we didn't hear. WHO was Kebek and WHY was he so great? What did he DO!?! 😄

    I don't know if you noticed before but every time Dimash performs in China they put lots of autotune, it really bothers me but nobody believes me that chinese producers do it and honestly sometimes it sounds really bad. Dimash's natural voice sounds way better.

    Don’t know what you think you’re hearing, but it isn’t autotune. Dimash has had some issues with his nasal cavity. The fact that you feel a need to emphasize there is autotune, and then try to cover up that negative criticism by saying how great he is...is obvious passive aggressive behavior. If you are such the expert, why aren’t you on the world stage? Even if there was autotune, (which there wasn’t)...why go on about it?
    You show your true colors. He’s just human, nothing special right? Nothing phenomenal. Ok, then.
    😂 Got that everybody? You

    • @HofTheStage
      @HofTheStage  2 года назад

      Wow, you're the only one acting passive aggressive here bud. I've done so many Dimash videos that I know exactly who he is and how he sings. He is nasal here but there's autotune here so much that everybody who knows how autotune sounds can hear it, you obviously don't know how it sounds. People like you always come to fight when the word autotune is used like it's a sin, even though 99% of artist you're listening to use it, so much that you got used to it and can't hear the difference anymore. As for Dimash, I love the dude, he even saw one of my videos because it was featured in a birthday documentary for him. I could go on about a lot of things, but I don't wanna bother with comments from people who don't hear any details. Have a nice day

      I just think its a moot point that doesn’t require 5 minutes talking about. So what? If everybody uses it....why pick on Dimash? I know why....because he is so admired and respected. The adulation is too much for you. You are going to burst that bubble. Destroy his magic. But hey, you love Dimash. Right? Well...you can’t destroy it. Compared to every other singer and their autotune out there....Dimash leaves ‘em in the dust. It just doesn’t matter.
