We're all never truly "alone" yet we feel it on a daily basis, some much longer than others.. wish we didn't..

This is exactly how I feel. I had a special connection with someone for 6 months. Longest thing I've had going on with someone and it rarely happens. Now she's moved away and wants to date other people. I feel like I'll never forget about her. Right now is just one of those stronger moments.

Here is why laughter is better. Music is a mood so when you listen to sad songs you get depressed because of the sad mood you are surrounded by. You usually laugh when something is funny bringing a happy mood, and scientifically speaking smiling makes you happier naturally whether you fake it or not. That is my argument, don't surround yourself with this music for too long, find a fun playlist that you get happy with and listen to that here and there it really helps. Thank you

As someone whose partner recently suddenly gave up on a truly incredible relationship, my only wish is that he would come back to me no matter how bad he hurt me by doing this. It seems this may have happened some time ago for you so I can’t say how you both are feeling now, but if you’re still struggling with the regret, it may be good to try reaching out to them to let them know how you feel. Maybe if you can’t fix the situation you can at least get closure if you dont already have it. Idk if this is terrible advice, but all i know is after 2 weeks this is all i want.

I’m going through the comments and everybody’s interpretation of the song is different. Some about lost love or some about grief, guilt and sadness.
What I first thought about when I heard this song was as if the lyrics were directed to oneself. Like as if thanking yourself for being strong and at the same time being sorry to yourself for letting oneself go through so much. Nobody hurts you like yourself. And the last lyric “I won’t hurt you anymore” hits me so hard. We all have been in negative mindset where we constantly put ourselves down. But in the end we have to go through that alone. Your not alone I've struggled for a while. I don't tell anyone because I'm scared. WHen your ready reach out. It's hard I know because I still haven't. I try to keep positive for others but it's hard somtimes. Sometimes I get so mad when I get fussed at by parent or family for someting stupid and just break down crying. because of everything I bottled up, it's just to much and you eventually need to let the tears flow. I always tell them it's shark week or something like that. They started to ask if I truley was okay last month, when I went to the doctors, (for a ADHD med refill) they mentioned it. The doctors gave me the screening test, I had the perfect oppertunity to tell everything that I feel on a daily basis, but I didn't. I don't know why. I guess it was because I didn't want them to think that I had more things wrong with me. I felt like they would completely change the way they see me. I regret not telling but I'm still not ready. so yes I can relate. If you made it this far you're amazing for actually caring thank you babe.

I broke a girl's heart very badly and it took me a while to come around to realizing how bad I messed up and how wrong I was. Now I live with the guilt every day of my life knowing I lost my soul mate and it was my fault. She is beautiful, I am so sorry for hurting her emotionally, and I'd do anything to get the chance to prove I've changed and can make up for my mistakes but she won't talk to me. Well, I don't know if they have missed me, but I know they can't have forgotten me, at least not yet. I wan't them to feel bad for how they treated me, they made me the happiest until they made me hurt so much. (they were a horrible friend and a toxic person) It was a year or two, i spent much time around them, this was 6-7 years ago, I now have a small bird house from another toxic friend i had that i use to store old things from bad friends, ex: one necklace from a "best friends" set, I gave her the other half back then and still have mine, when I take it out and look at it I cry.(i gave the half to the horrible friend)Now I have an empty locket that says "Best" and nothing else but yearbooks to remember her by. At the same time I want to see her again and hug her, but I also never want to see her again. (she is alive and well, I saw her last 2 years ago, we ended up at the same school again but it took until now to fully process the hurt, sadness, and only now would I be willing to talk to her)
