What a insightful interview, as a young man fighting for the warriors squad ( I fought on the first 7 titans events ) I came across Dave a few times. But after listening to this interview and looking back with a older head on my shoulders it clear Dave was a legendary coach and servant to his fighters. A true sensei oss

    Wow, this brings back memories.
I remember us breaking away from the UKTA. I was training in Birmingham with Paul Donnely at the time.
Dave, Paul and Ron were great. Got my blackbelt under the UKTA when i was 11 and had to treck up to Glasgow to take the grading in front of General Ki Ha Rhee - If I recall, I actually made him smile ... (something to do with me trying to break) I'm not sure anyone had seen him smile in public before.
At the time as it was the only place you could take black belt.
The train back to Brum took 16 hours and got stuck in the snow around Preston - and the heating was broken in the train !!.
    Good times :)

Awesome interview!! GM Oliver is a legend. Really interesting to hear about how the TAGB started out and how and why TKD and TKD training has evolved the way it has. Loved it!!
