I got such a kick out of this video! How fun to be a fly on the wall watching two respected BI leaders playing and learning together while I too got to learn a lot about how to improve my prompt engineering. I'm currently challenged to reshape a strangely structured dataset and want to use AI but the hardest part has been figuring out how to describe the data structure using only text. Because it's not just the tables and relationships that the AI model must understand, but odd things like the fact that that 5 columns play different roles depending on both other columns' values and prefixes in those 5 columns' own values. It's such a great idea to use a multi-modal AI model that can take a screenshot and get it to help me craft a good prompt for a text-only model. I can't wait to see Part 2!

Brian is right about the prompts. You're having a conversation with ChatGPT, just like you're having a conversation with Brian. You go back and forth and bounce ideas off each other.
Just because it doesn't get it right the first time, doesn't mean it's not working.
