Best happiest Kiss song of years. Positive thinking people, that's what this song is all about. Great chords, solo, bass, drums, singing. I love it It's, never enough ! Greatest band of all times. And i know, and i've me them twice. In Person and Group !
I first saw Kiss on 9/28/79 at the old Met Center in Bloomington, MN. I love this new album. Seeing them on 11/7/09 at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
True...KISS made Poison and dozens of other bands- but the verse does sound a little like Nothin But A Good Time ;) Hey...no harm no foul. It all rocks.
I have to speak on this; I've seen some comments on here that this new KISS album is too upbeat and poppy, well lets not forget the boring and depressing '90's with all the grunge and alternative bands that were more or less pushing suicide and depression. At least this music is a throw-back to a time when people enjoyed having fun and partying and getting laid and all of that get stuff. I'll take this music any day over fucking "suicide '90's alternative shit". ROCK THE FUCK ON KISS!!!
This song is no comparison to Poison’s Nothin But A Good Time! KISS is just more talented and always have been on Sonic Boom KISS went back to their roots and this song proves that matter
all i've got to say is that those good old guys still pack a pretty big barrel of ''sex drugs and rock'n'roll" brand gunpowder!!!! some music MUST NEVER DIE!!!
How many more "anthem" type songs do we have to hear from Kiss? We already have Rock and Roll All Night, Shout It Out Loud, God Gave Rock and Roll to you, and on and on and on. Can't they write something that isn't meant to be so damn uplifting? Where's the gloom and doom? Where's the heavy metal? Where's the God of Thunder, the Black Diamond, the Parasite, the Deuce, anything that doesn't sound like a goddamn beer commercial? I guess they found their niche in the sports bar crowd.
@mahatmashandi Either that or they do whatever the fuck they have to do to get the greatest number of airheads to sing along in the crowd. Nevermind making a good album.
Judas Priest with HAlford is fucking EXCELLENT what has ones sexuality got to do with anything. Priest with HALFORD and TIM OWNES both rocked just like Kiss with eric and tommy rocks. Also QUEEN rocks and the singer was gay BIG FUCKING DEAL good music is good music.
i understand what you are saying but look at what happened to KISS when they did try something other than what they know with unmasked and the elder and the rest of that decade was spent trying to catch up to what they though they should be and the other bands of the era
That is the problem with a lot of bands the 70's are gone and they are not coming back. Too many bands are strung on the past and all the new music sounds the same time to move on to new production. The past called and guess what it's dead. Not trying to dump on anyone just my opinion.
As a lifelong KISS fan, (I'm 45), I gotta say.. This is awful..Just awful.. And, yes, its a total Poison rip off. My God.. YOU'RE FUCKING KISS!!!!!! WHY ARE YOU RIPPING OF POISON?!?!?!?!?!
Just to clear this up for everyone... yes, this track seems to be ripping the Poison tune, Nothing But a Good Time. However, C.C. DeVille cleverly copped the riff from Duece, on the 1st Kiss album, to turn it into what had become Poisons big hit. Paul is kind of double-dipping into the past. KIss Monster, a far superior album to Sonic Boom IMHO, features a track, All in the Name of Rock and Roll, that reworks a riff from Mr Speed on Rock and Roll Over. Great song, Eric sings his heart out. Some riffs are just worth revisiting.
Great song...this ranks up there with some of the classic Kiss tunes in my opinion. One of the best on a fantastic new Cd, welcome back Kiss!!!!!

this is the best kiss ever .....come on guys
KISS had these riffs long before Poison. Poison looked up to KISS and emulated them in songs. Research before complaining. MONSTER is going to Rock!

KISS influenced Poison if anything they are trying to get back to what they had in the mid 70's with destroyer, rock and roll over, and love gun
Someone taught you right!🤘

@mahatmashandi Either that or they do whatever the fuck they have to do to get the greatest number of airheads to sing along in the crowd. Nevermind making a good album.

like poison ?????????????? WTFAU I always thought poison followed the kiss image as well as mottley crue and almost every 80s band
let me ask you... where do you think poison got their sound? ummmm KISS! the best fuckin band in the world
@jayou812a hey you're right this is the exat same riff
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE kiss and always will, but this song's verse sounds waaaay to much like the one in Poison's "Nothin' But A Good Time".
i'm gonna silde it in, slide it in right to the top!

Good song though..
Totally Poison. I can't believe they released this turd. End of transmission.

As a lifelong KISS fan, (I'm 45), I gotta say.. This is awful..Just awful.. And, yes, its a total Poison rip off. My God.. YOU'RE FUCKING KISS!!!!!! WHY ARE YOU RIPPING OF POISON?!?!?!?!?!
Kiss came way before poison did wtf are you talking about
