a real 10 out of 10 pop vocalist, breathy, squeaky and bright, and she uses a very nasal tone to cut through (chocolate, slow, wow, love@firstsight, like u,) but then she can hit these sustained notes, almost getting into a rock opera thing. we DO love when Kylie gives drama and hair and like you said, her ability to bring a simple and effective message, concept, etc. Kylie is my no1, but were so lucky to have queens like, Tina arena, livvy newton John, Delta goodrem, jess maubuoy, Kate miller-heidki, Chrissy amphleett, nat Imbruglia, and Sophie monk (of Bardot) plus all the other bitches who's names I forget rn, who are really unsurpassed in their own musical space, but also none of them can do what echother do (sept ol Kylie) plus her acting chops in such roles as that one hot scientist chick in bio-dome with the vile Paulie shaw, and as Epponnee-Raelene Kathlene Darlene Charlene Craig, or "eps"/"Epponnee'' in the k&k Telemovie and s4. straya luvs KOIIIIILEEEE ❤❤
This was a mini tour across the states starting in San Francisco over to New York. There was one stop in Toronto hence the Toronto Tower each city they showed a different backdrop to the city they were in. It combined some of the elements from a couple of her previous tours, she wanted to give back to her fans in North America that have been so loyal to her. It was scaled down. New York I think she played three nights at the Hammerstein ballroom which is about 4000 people a night. It was packed. It was a great show. Can’t wait until she comes to Madison Square Garden playing two nights April 4th and 5th. I got my tickets.
This particular act of the concert was inspired by the film Sunset Boulevard. It starts with audio from the movie and then the song “White Diamond” and then merges into “Confide in Me.” Most of the choreography, the dancer’s costumes, and the instrumentation of the song are from the 2005 Showgirl tour, but some of the dance break was altered from Kylie and Jason’s original routine (in the Showgirl tour) to fit that of the new SB theme of and the Norma Desmond character having a nervous breakdown.- for more context this was Kylie’s first US tour and it was kind of a scaled down best of version of her previous arena and stadium world tours from 2001-2009 as a “thank you” to her small but loyal (and growing) US fan base.
This song she nails every time she performs it live. You must listen to her performing Your Disco Needs You live, this is where she shows her vocal range in her operatic cycle.
Ashamed to say I’ve never seen this particular performance before. And it’s almost identical to the showgirl tour of a few years before. Same dancer, choreography etc. one of the best live performances she’s done.
This was a mini tour to get back to our fans in the United States. I would say the gays so it had a lot of the elements from previous tours she went from San Francisco to New York and a stop over in Toronto
For You, For Me Tour, a special tour for the United States, takes several elements from other tours and fuses them into a new tour. Fans were left waiting for the DVD release and only an excerpt was released on a special DVD for the Afrodite album.
This was live from NYC It was a tour specifically for North America/Canada in 2009 called “For You, For Me Tour 2009” It was an amalgamation of Fever2002, Showgirl/Homecoming and X2008
This performance was live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC in 2009 on Kylie’s first USA/Canadian tour. It combined elements of her Fever 2002, Showgirl/Homecoming and X2008 tours This song is from Act 5 and is set during golden years of Hollywood. It’s opens with an orchestral overture with dialogue from old films such as The Wizard Of Oz, Sunset Boulevard and Casablanca along with quotes from actresses from that time with the likes of Joan Crawford, Judy Garland etc All songs in Act 5 of the show were: White Diamond (ballad version) Confide In Me I Believe In You (ballad version) Kylie is touring the USA and Canada next year. You fellas should get yourself some tickets and check out one of her full shows in person.
You need to listen to the original version of the song first, so that you can see how she manages to change it up each time she performs it live on tour! This is a rocked up version of the song.
Listen for the little sample of Kashmir by Led Zeppelin bringing the rock element to this epic live rendition! Watching this live was truly transformational - it brought such a different vibe to the song, already amazing, but better. Now please explain dangle Craig lol 🍆 😂
oooooh ill go look, I just saw the Shakira and jlo one.....I love that jlo knows everyone watching knows she aint famous enough to get a solo half-time, so she's really doing the most, she's so crazy. our lil crazy girl from the bronkx. Fergie I felt like I needed to say her name too for some reason x
@@MsJasperr How is JLo not famous enough, almost everyone knows who she is and she has had many hit songs. Over 80 million record sales worldwide, a net worth of 400 million and 250 million Instagram followers does not lie.
@@sav0001 she still aint no Beyonce I know jlo is famous, she lets everyone know all the time. a net worth isn't talent either henny, do you know who gina reinheardt is? ofc you dont. dont worry im not being sassy, nobody knowswho she is and yet, hers is 31.6 billion. do see where im going? jlo isn't as famous as she should be, because she doesn't write her stuff she doesn't have any real musical ability other than singing a song thats literally already recorded by a more talented singer, says she's real but is an actual terror to work with plus she has no integrity. but her head looked great, during her allotted time, her daughter sang better than she did, imho and those weren't cheap bundles. held a curl thew whole time. ill just watch Shakira play instruments and showcase other musicians rather than a viral dance school and the stripper straight to streaming services movie. her first acting role was playing a woman who IS STILL more famous than her, and she's been dead since 1995 and her net worth was 100 million when she died. jlo aint shit loooool
Queen Kylie ❤
Confide in Me is Kylie's best track, ever. Sublime.
The video to this song is really good. Simple, but very effective with the message. She has an amazing voice.

All her costumes were designed by Jean Paul Gaultier for this tour (one of her references for the newest song - Lights Camera Action)
This entire act is a masterpiece!!! It's a medley of three songs, it's a shame it's not complete. Greetings from Chile🇨🇱🎶🎶
The best performance of this song! 💜💙🖤
I was waiting for this reaction... That was an amazing performance, now you should react to "Butterfly" live in Sidney, another amazing performance
YESSS!!!! 😁 Love that performance ❤

The video for this song from 1994 is campy, low-fi and iconic.
Is it hell campy
Gents! Please please watch the actual video from 1994 and some other performances of it!
You should see the showgirl performance it’s such a great song for sure

The original is a stone cold CLASSIC!
This is from the reworked x tour from 2008 for 6 concerts in North America in 2009.
