Thanks! I originally recorded it as a cinematic but felt it needed a bit more and thought adding the build order captions would make it more interesting or useful. I appreciate the feedback!
It's so good! I feel like I can't speak over it. 😅 Edit: but the real crime was in order to record this with ambience and have continuous music from scene to scene, I had to turn music off in game. 😭
I do hunting and berries then logs. I like to have a stock built up so by the time I do homes, I can make everyone work the logs and construction for a little while before needing food again.
@PoplarPonderosa its a little more work, making sure labor is bunched up and rotated, but i think the burst of goods at first works. I'll time it next, compare the styles.
This order doesnt work for challenging difficulty. You need to set church and clothing needs before building houses or peoole start to leave the town and its game over. It's a nice looking video though, good job.
What would you change in the build order? 🧐
Can't wait for Manor Lords to one day have random generated maps. This is incredible work by just one person!
I'm really hoping we get a map editor to make our own and share them. 🤓
I haven't played Manor Lords since launch, but this reminds me I need to take a few hours and reexplore! Thanks for sharing!
I hadn't played in months either. The update has lots of nice changes. Especially the new maps.
This is the first time I see this kind of video (cinematic build order). Nice concept, great video! ❤

This made me very nostalgic for a life I've never lead.
Simpler times.😪
Love this. Been wanting to see more cinematic step-by-step progression videos!
Thanks! I feel like it's a pretty niche thing. 😅
Good lord, that soundtrack ❤

I love cinematics with buildings on fire!
Haha yeah I thought that was a fun way to end it.
Such beautiful cinematics! Makes me want to revisit the game.
It's a beautiful game. It was nice to come back to it.
Good job! Very nice! If you manage to build 3 double plots in March, you will have a family in April.
I forgot to check exactly when the sixth family moved in but I think it was April or May.

That sounds reasonable. I might try that with my next build. 👍

@PoplarPonderosa just as soon as july starts i get 4 homes built this way.
@@jameseddleman6944 nice. I think with this build, I got my 6th family by April or May.
Food spoils in the new update, so can't really stock up to much now
damn what a beautiful game and what a beautiful cinematic!!
Thanks Maverick! I almost didn't put any captions because it looks so good! I also thought it deserved widescreen.
Put together well, PP. Nicely planned out the village you did. Gr8 cinematics, too.
Thanks! It's a beautiful game.
But you only start with 1 ox. Why build 2nd hitch point?
I built a second hitch and ordered a second ox right away. Maybe the caption could have been more clear. Cheers!
Beer before gear...
Party hardy! 🍻
(I was playing without opponents.)

Thanks for the tips! I was playing Relaxing on Rise to Prosperity so I had different objectives. And thanks for checking it out.
