Same with overwatch, there were tournaments in the early beta. And in overwatch 2, the pro players played on their own build that wasn't available to most people. If a game is competitive enough, there's going to be competitions no matter what stage of development it's in
They thought they used decay on him on top of that. Decay is non lethal, but kills shiv because of the differed damage. It’s extremely good counter item for shiv.
@@MinisculeBug Pretty sure it's not. You can tell at 10:33 the moment the camera changes to Shiv, his entire health bar is already orange from Haze's ult, and it's only at half at this point. Given that he's brought even lower, it's fairly granted that he's got a huge amount of deferred damage. Besides, Decay's visual effect is really easy to notice with a big dark red circle under you and bright red sparks around your character model, none of which are visible here. The only way I can justify what you mean is that the deferred damage is ticking too slow for it to be from Haze's ult, and it results from a Decay that has been used on him way earlier, but I'm not sure that's how Bloodletting works, I think it just spreads the damage evenly in the time that's left.
Game 1 3:45 game start 5:12 Laning phase starts (long pause beforehand) 12:00 Laning phase ends (everyone starts roaming and team fights begin) 20:47 Final team fight begins to end map 1 Game 2 26:35 game start 32:25 Laning phase ends in favour of team MikaelS 47:06 final team fight before mid boss and base invasion 48:37 team MikaelS invade and end game

this is an english rebroadcast of a russian product. I agree the quality isnt great its likely a discord screen-share that they streamed and then this is a rip of that stream. so yea not great for the quality
Man it looks more like 480 or 360p. Has been many many years since i saw a video quality this bad. Even someones trash pc that cant stream can Get better quality footage than this, this trully makes no fking sense tbh.
If you'd like a more focused perspective, Piggy has a great full VOD on his channel from that winning team that I really enjoyed (I'm not affiliated, just found it in my algorithm).
1- it's extremely hyped (rightfully so, imo). 2- It's made by Valve so they KNOW there will be huge official tournaments due to the player base expecting it and looking for it. Not to mention this is a pretty low risk 10k$ cash prize tournament, so it's easy pickings for them, they know new players are immediately looking to know the "pro scene" and start nerding out on the best players, their strats, etc. I wouldn't be super surprised if Valve had contacted people about their new game to try and get the first few tournaments ready before the beta came out, so that when it does come out, you already have popular names and teams to make a "real" tournament.
There are matchups to consider with who you are fighting, just like a fighting game. After that its proximity to your other teammates' lanes etc, as sometimes they'll have time to come over and help you do cleanup if you need it etc.
Can we get match IDs? Quality is kind of bad and would like to watch in game!
no match ids or replays for private matches which require a private server to run, currently.
I like how the video is in 4k but the quality is actually like 480 lmao
@@TomaBrick yeah i thought my eyes playing tricks on me
It would be great if you guys could comment on some of the item selections, as well as showing the team/player stats at the end of each match!

A tournament in early development is crazy.
I mean, DotA 2 had a torunament before it was even accessible to the public. The first matches of dota we could see were in a tournament.
@@TxcEcko Huh, maybe it's not so crazy after all

10:36 shiv doesn't die from decay, its the shiv's 3 ability that defers damage. you will still take the damage eventually if you cannot heal

Yeah, it was a bit weird that they both couldn't tell. Probably not used to playing Shiv, I guess :D
@@carlosmspk The deffered damage from the decay is what kills him

First game win was decided from the start. The fact that Abrams, Mo and Wraith are allowed on the same team is insane.

Following Dota's route which had a tournament in it's beta days. It's not a bad idea unless your game is barely playable.
huge props to these awesome commentators
I like tournaments like these but pls improve the quality of the recording or replays
we got deadlock tournament before gta6
Oh wow, I haven't seen Jacky cast since QPL.
As soon as I saw the team comps I was knew the outcome lol

Pocket is the face of the current meta IMO
Why
Pocket had almost 0 impact in either of these games lol
You mean Haze
You mean kelvin and mo & krill. If you want to see whats meta just look at the bans
Pocket is good but definitely not one of the core picks because of his poor scaling

deadlock is too snowbally.. it ends within 5mins in laning...
