I used to tell people "We've planned the 2nd child... That's why we don't have him!" 😅 Worked every time & left them laughing!! 🤍

Mother of one here! 🤣🤣🤣 (p.s. she's all grown up and despite her father and me, she is a fully functioning member of society!)

Agreed, ‘don’t need more of me in the world’ is what I usually say, right after an Irish wedding

It's sometimes worse if they ask you why you don't have any kids.

      Totally agree. Unforgivable question. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Me and my wife are in the "lucky" camp of not really wanting any so the question does not really touch us that much, but I cannot imagine how absolutely shitty awful this has to be for people who are genuinely wanting to have kids but cannot.

Preach! My MIL told me that because I don't want kids means something is very wrong with me mentally 🤣🤣 I told her to fuck off in plain English. She's constantly making abusive statements to me about it. Family needs to stop thinking they have the right to be in our sex lives.

The only reason we had one child is that we didn't want two...

I was a host father in a youth program. Our first time, I took him to the movies twice. On our second go, I sent him to get seats and I got the popcorn and drinks.
    I lost him!
I was so freaked out. I went back to the lobby of the movie theatre and questioned the staff. None of them had seen him!
They told me to check all the theatres. He was in my 3rd one. (Of 8!)
    Whew!
He’d gone to the same theatre we’d be in the last time. Not to the movie I bought tickets for.
Panic. Pure panic when you lose a young person. (He was 18-25 y o). It was cold outside. Near freezing. And he had no jacket. Part of my worry was he’d gone outside. (Why would he ever do that?!? But a panicked mind is just mad!)

Get outta my head Jar! it's almost like being married, over 35 and not having a house, kids, cars, debt, self loathing, and borderline alcohol problems

One child is plenty. My eldest always tells me i should have stopped after him,but my fourth child mantains i had to keep going until i got it right by having her. Id throw the lot of them off a cliff for my grandchildren 😅😅😅😅
