Such a great record. Bee Gees and Streisand are Heaven. I’ve been hitting a home run singing this and don’t bother changing the ‘woman’ lyric. I dedicate it to all of you my sisters out there when I sing it.
If my neighbors can hear me, they probably hate me. I’ve been cranking this up and singing along at least every other day for two weeks now. There’s great satisfaction in improvement. I couldn’t barely hold the long note for 5 seconds when I started, now I can hold it for the entire length without even trying. Can’t wait to go to karaoke this Saturday and bust it out!!!

It's about how you feel when you sing it. I was an 18 year old rock and roller going to school in Phoenix when I first heard this song, and I didn't care how l sounded and I didn't care I was a guy singing and crying at the top of my voice. Now I'm 60 years old and there's this thing called karaoke which I'm pretty good at. I've sang nonstop at home for five hours and I wasn't anywhere near my limit where I start repeating songs. My voice is refined because I force it to go where it doesn't want to go. It's sad at first , but with practice your voice will do what you want it to do. It's just easier for some ppl. Ppl freak out when they see it's a guy singing "Superstar" by Karen Carpenter. Sing if it makes you happy. Then sing some more.
