Tom says a lot of stuff that regular people are saying but Tom delivers it in his music instead of in the middle of an argument or stand off between point of view. Tom's delivery allows people to actually hear a logical message without feeling accused or called out directly.

Something I learned a long time ago after years of abuse, mentally physically and emotionally. You can't control what others say or do to you, but you can control how you allow it to effect you. Only thing you can control is yourself and your own mind! Once you realize this it is one of the most freeing things around. You remove the powers from the person who is bullying you. If you give them a reaction back they have won power over your mind.

Alright man so I just got out of jail July 15 of this year. I just heard of Tom and his messages are extremely strong. @Greg your comments on Toms message is spot on. So while I was incarcerated I got my paralegal certification and I hope to become involved with inmate rights and above all civil rights advocacy. The division that is in today's society is SAD. Things need to change and they need to change soon before it's to late.

Literally had a one hour conversation with a black man about this yesterday. He worked for the utility company and said he loves his job because having conversations with people in their homes really opens his eyes to what people are really like and not what the media says they're like.
We all need to realize that all they want to do is make sure we all fight each other. We need to learn to love each other. Understand we all have our struggles. Support each other and not rely on all of these clowns in the government because they don't care about us.
