So I ended up purchasing a FRP unlock key from eIMEI24.com And it worked! HOWEVER... Now my P20 Pro is just stuck on a boot logo... It will not enter Fastboot Mode at all... Here is step by step what I went through to get to this point (If you can point out the things I did wrong, or give me a next step to go from my dead end that would be great!) How the problem occurred 1. I was just driving, I had Google maps opened and my phone randomly started rebooting. 2. I drove home, and tried holding Volume Down + Power button to see if I could get it out of bootloop and reset the phone. (Nothing happened) 3. So from there I plugged my phone into the computer tried charging it and starting it back up. (Still nothing) 4. After that I tried using the OEM charging block and the charging cord and charged it for a little while, and restarted the phone. (Still stuck in bootloop) 5. Now I started doing deeper troubleshooting, I plugged my phone into the computer with the OEM charging cord which works perfectly fine, and held Volume Down + Power button to boot it up into "Fastboot&Recovery Mode" That worked as far as bringing up Fastboot mode. 6. I noticed it said "Phone Locked" and "FRP Lock" in green text at the bottom. so I searched for options for 2 days and found I needed to unlock FRP and reset the phone. (From here I was thinking FRP was locking my phone from being able to hard reset.) 7. So i found a website called eIMEI24.com and purchased a FRP unlock key and waited a day and a half for it to arrive in my email. 8. (Here is where things get interesting) I used a program called "Fastboot Erase Tool" I put in the FRP key, and clicked "FRP unlock" and boom! My phone turned off, and then turned back on, and stayed on the Huawei screen... 9. I have since then tried booting back into Fastboot mode and it will only turn off and turn back on and continue to stay on the Huawei screen. 10. I have tried all Key combinations while restarting the phone... Still have gotten nothing... If anyone can offer any suggestions or advice please, I'm all ears! Until then I will have to go back to my old Honor 8 until I can afford a new phone... Thank you!
Is there any other way to do this? In my case I forgot my password. I performed the first method (the second is impossible with the cell blocked), but the cell phone still asks for the previous password instead of being completely erased. It states that with the way it was restarted (the first method of your video), there is the possibility of data exposure, so ask to use the last password.
