I was bout to say “the look isn’t terrible” … until I saw it in the sunlight 😭 but fr, I feel like if the MUA cleaned up her technique and learned what colors compliment each other and which skin tones, she really could be a good MUA. I’d say this is even one of the best of the worst!
I had a near traumatic experience where one of the girls at work asked to do my make up, since she was doing her own at the time and we thought it would be fun. She was about on par with the MUA in the video. My face was so itchy afterwards. She went to cosmetology school............
@@kit922 The only person I trust to do my makeup is my older sister who taught me how to do it myself. Even then though, she rarely does it now since I can just do it myself. Also if someone asks if they can do your makeup, make sure everything they use on you is hygienic. Especially the face brushes and/or any sponges you use. And definitely do not let them put anything in your waterline. Its the worst.
If it’s done well, it shouldn’t hurt. That, and they shouldn’t pull your eyelid so far. Eyeliner in the waterline is not for everyone, but it’s common to do for certain makeup looks.

New conspiracy theory: they all went to the same makeup seminar and they ALL learned the same way cuz theres NO way lol how and why do they ALL do the same things lmaooo 😆😆 The eyebrow thing on Judy, the same eyeshadow technique the same eyeliner technique the same way they apply foundation and powder blush etc.
So, first of all, we insist on plucking our clients eyebrows. Next, make sure you use your oldest, dirtiest products and tool. You need to use a foundation shade at least 4 shades too dark. Make sure you use the brightest colours for the eyeshadow and lip colour. Don't forget, you must be incredibly harsh on the client's skin to make sure all that product really gets stuck in there. Good luck!

They simply do not care is what I have chalked it up to. I could never allow someone to leave my salon looking this way. I commented that out of ALL the colors available to her in her make up pallet, those were the colors she chose?! Could you imagine coming in to have your bridal makeup done and leaving looking like that?! I can't. These videos make me upset that they're actually charging people money for this.... Smh

Yes Judy searches out worst reviewed places, but I’m willing to bet she scouts them out in person too. She’s mentioned in videos before the salon she’s in had no online presence, or she couldn’t find a number to call. So how else does she find these places? If this is your job, you’re going to look in every salon you pass and if this is the look you see…. There have been videos where there wasn’t a scheduled appointment. She just saw the place and went in. This makeup look is one we’ve all seen, I call it “Fashionable Auntie”, it’s a siren song to a yt’er like Judy. Someone wants this look. Someone has this look. Someone will pay for this look.

There are some people that have good technique or colour theory and it’s clear that they just lack the proper tools. But those are very rare. If you have seen many videos in this series, it’s clear these mua’s have no clear plan/vision. Just wing it, and then try to cover up their mistakes, and then cover up those mistakes. Have no hygienic standards. I mean this one can’t even be bothered to take the loose brush hairs off her face. And a lot of them are also rude. And it’s not like someone is doing this because they’re new and it’s practice. This is a service being PAID for. I think it’s ok to be critical. It’s not like she’s dozing them or anything.

I wish you’d do something to give back to the community you’re benefiting from. Maybe randomly give an MUA a cash prize or a bee make up kit- specially the ones you’ve met who are kind, and you can tell have talent and love for the art form, but maybe haven’t had the tools and access to resources to improve their skills.

Anytime the bad makeup artists get a client they get excited to use the colors they never use so they pick highlighter yellow lime orange but like just stick with what you know
So I got an Idea, what if you went and got your makeup done but you don’t know what makeup you are getting done (example a friend chooses for you) and you do not see the end result. Then you get someone (idk if you edit your videos) to edit the video for you. Finally you do the voiceover reaction till you see the final look

So, I've been watching these and I laugh every time at the sounds and Judy's voiceovers (most of the time) but, and I'm sure this may be an unpopular opinion, this one bothered me. It's just 16 minutes of Judy and her friend making fun of this woman. This one was a bit hard to watch - Judy, do better than that. It almost seems...bully(ish)? Maybe that's not the right word I'm looking for. I watched a video prior to this one where you say that you "can't say no" so you bring these on yourself sometimes. Simply, because you can't say no or don't want to say no. You DO have control here, yanno. You can, at any time, say "no, not that...". Yet, you don't. You want to avoid confrontation, I definitely understand that, and you're trying to let everyone know some of the worst places to go so they don't go there. It helps others, gives you followers and provides comedic relief for hours (If you're like me and binge). Sometimes, I do feel bad for the MUA because they ask for input and you don't give them any kind of direction. Keep making your videos because I do enjoy them but try to be a bit more kind when you're collabing because you definitely aren't the same person when you're not collabing.

I thought I was the only one that noticed. I can tell the lady was actually trying and trying her best to be gentle with her. Were they the best techniques for makeup skills? I wish you’d do something to give back to the community you’re benefiting from. Maybe randomly give an MUA a cash prize or a bee make up kit- specially the ones you’ve met who are kind, and you can tell have talent and love for the art form, but maybe haven’t had the tools and access to resources to improve their skills.
I fully expect that one day another customer is going to roll up on Judy sitting in the chair and just randomly do her makeup since the MUAs don't know what they're doing half the time.

So I got an Idea, what if you went and got your makeup done but you don’t know what makeup you are getting done (example a friend chooses for you) and you do not see the end result. Then you get someone (idk if you edit your videos) to edit the video for you. Finally you do the voiceover reaction till you see the final look

So, I've been watching these and I laugh every time at the sounds and Judy's voiceovers (most of the time) but, and I'm sure this may be an unpopular opinion, this one bothered me. It's just 16 minutes of Judy and her friend making fun of this woman. This one was a bit hard to watch - Judy, do better than that. It almost seems...bully(ish)? Maybe that's not the right word I'm looking for. I watched a video prior to this one where you say that you "can't say no" so you bring these on yourself sometimes. Simply, because you can't say no or don't want to say no. You DO have control here, yanno. You can, at any time, say "no, not that...". Yet, you don't. You want to avoid confrontation, I definitely understand that, and you're trying to let everyone know some of the worst places to go so they don't go there. It helps others, gives you followers and provides comedic relief for hours (If you're like me and binge). Sometimes, I do feel bad for the MUA because they ask for input and you don't give them any kind of direction. Keep making your videos because I do enjoy them but try to be a bit more kind when you're collabing because you definitely aren't the same person when you're not collabing.

I thought I was the only one that noticed. I can tell the lady was actually trying and trying her best to be gentle with her. Were they the best techniques for makeup skills? Probably not, but the lady at least had the sincerety to do her best on her, where other people are mean, rough, and careless.

I swear, I would cuss me out someone who demanded any type of payment for that joke of makeup application. These fools really need to know what their good at and focus on that in order to charge money. Your way to nice! I would throw their makeup and dirty tools at them or hold them down and use their dirty crap right back on them. Every time I watch you go through one of these I find myself screaming at my phone!! Your skin is really going to suffer long term doing this over and over. I don't see how you can stick with a good cleaning ritual when you consistently punish your skin...SMH.
