As a 15 year old Therian, it is hard for me to express myself. My parents tell me they don't disapprove, but that it doesn't fit in my life right now. They also make jokes out of it, which I do not appreciate really.. At school, I have one therian friend who's still figuring out her theriotype. I'm a cross-fox, barn owl, cat, and coyote therian myself, and a few days ago, this girl from my class who I'm friends with got a therian video on her for you page. She got all disgusted and kept saying "Eww look at this furry, like why would you wear a cat mask and tail and walk around on all fours, don't she feel ashamed?" And I laughed it off, playing along with played disgust, but from inside I felt something like sadness and I wanted to claw at her, yet she's my friend. I rlly hate this ngl, but hey, your playlist is amazing to listen to so! Yay! But unlike a lot of other therian, I cycle along forests daily, through big fields and through some woodland and marshlands only going to school. So, I should be grateful, but the situation doesnt help lol

You also might find some comfort and community in online Therian communities, where you can connect with others who understand what you're going through. I’m 13, and my mom is a hardcore Christian and Conservative (I am too, but not hardcore like her). One time, when she say a furry(therian), she laughed and said they’re mentally ill, and are indoctrinated little kids. She always makes fun of Therians, LGBTQ, and furries. She says they need help, and it hurts when I hear that since I’m a furry, Therian, and Bisexual. I have to act like I agree with her bc if I don’t, she’ll say “Why are you defending them? Don’t tell me you’re one of those mentally unstable people!”, “I raised you better”, etc. I feel so trapped in this body. I don’t get to express myself, and I wouldn’t DREAM of telling her. (I’d get a lifelong ban from RUclips and all other social media I have, then get an exorcism probably) she’d tell me I’ve been indoctrinated by the government and I’d be in huge trouble. (Vent over. Sorry abt yapping so much 😅)

But, I know for a fact the Therian community isn't bad. (for what I've seen) and are just people who express themselves! Just like everyone else! I don't understand why people hate on others for expressing themselves. It's wrong, and we were taught, and made to be better than that. Everyone deserves to be loved, and deserves to love.

Listened to this while practicing Quads, it was a bit of a fail since my rooms a bit small and hard wood which hurts my hands 😢 This kept me motivated and when I got tired I practiced my vocals while listening to this :) What a great playlist, it really helps with quads and vocals and just relaxing

I have a strict mother and a chillin' dad, every day i wake up as soon as possible so my parents don't find out that i'm a therian and well my theriotype is a vulpes (fox). When i get the chance i always ask my friends or cousin if we can hang out or go to the forest (they are also therians) it's the moment when i can express myself out and feel safe. I got a fox tail, ears and a self- made mask, i only wear these when i'm out or alone. I feel sad because i know my parents do not support me... Whatever i still enjoy my life because i know god will always be on my side❤ Sorry for all the therians that live the same and i hope y'all get the chance to express yourself out.🍁

I recently discovered myself as a therian a few weeks ago, and i felt like i truly belong somewhere now, and felt like my life was meaningful now. Im getting my mask marerials soon, and i already have some gym gloves my therapist gave me.
And also starting to do quads. And i feel glad because its an exercise that gets me exhausted in a good way, and sweatin. Im trying my best, because sometimes my quads aren't good if they're in the house. But practice makes perfect! Love yall

One of my aunts and uncles accept me, so does they'r kid(she is 3 but yeah). My godmothers youngest child(she is ten) accepts me and loves quads. And one of my friends is a therian as well! I recently discovered myself as a therian a few weeks ago, and i felt like i truly belong somewhere now, and felt like my life was meaningful now. Im getting my mask marerials soon, and i already have some gym gloves my therapist gave me.
And also starting to do quads. And i feel glad because its an exercise that gets me exhausted in a good way, and sweatin. Im trying my best, because sometimes my quads aren't good if they're in the house. But practice makes perfect! Love yall

I have added it, since the beat is nice and alot of therians have included this song in their videos, songtell said that "The Milk Carton" by Madilyn Mei is a song about feeling lost and disconnected from one's home and past. The coyote represents the scary and unpredictable aspects of the world outside the familiarity of home. The refrain "And the birds don't talk like the ones on screen, have they really domesticated me?" suggests that the narrator feels trapped and isolated, possibly comparing themselves to a caged bird. Which kind of describes the feelings of fellow therians.
