Hi I really don’t think you had a clue at what you were watching. The Japanese High School Bands are without doubt the greatest bands in the world. They are all senior high school students and the band is a out of school activity. This kids practice 40 hrs a week over a 7 day period, plus holidays. Total dedication to their work ethic. Most bands are 90% female and they only stay in the band for 3 years and then graduate to university. Kyoto Tachibana has become world famous and the nickname of the band is the “Orange Devils “. They have performed twice in the New Year Rose Parade in Pasadena California and there were the headliners of the parade, along with winning the Bandfest against massive college bands in the USA. They also performed in a charity concert and asked for the money to be donated to the firefighters families who had lost members in the California fire 🔥 Being musicians yourselves 🤔, you have appreciated the effort and dedication that went into that event , playing instruments so beautifully, while dancing 🙏 To breath in a controlled manner takes amazing skill “I am sure you will agree”👍. The war cry at beginning is “Tachibana Tension, He He He”. And the scream in the performance is their trademark piece. I have watched there gold championship performance at least 20 times. Never gets old. The quality of their musicianship while DANCING and jumping around? Are you kidding me? I could not hear one missed note.
Kyoto Tachibana High School has been selected to participate in the 2025 Rose Parade for the third time. While hundreds of teams from around the world apply, only 10 teams are eligible to compete, and once a team competes, it cannot compete for five years.

Yeah they are crazy good
This is an old video of the band that one gold in 2015. However it reflects the excellence of KTHS. They look and sound this good every year.
