Our prototype features a standard clip-on closure that many people recognize from clip-on earrings through the years and even today, however the twist in our prototype is that it is on a modern style, a chunky trendy hoop earring! I remember putting on some cheap kids clip on earrings that came in one of those princess dress up packs when I was like 9 or 10, and my aunt literally had to hold me still and carefully pull it off. Because the second I let go and and it clipped on, it dug into my ear and it hurt SO bad I started crying. Even from when I was younger, it would take a lot of physical pain to make me cry, so there's that, for one thing. My ears were also actually pierced so I didn't even need them, I just put them on because they were in the kit. They've been pierced since I was a baby and I'm so thankful my mom did. I never had to remember the experience of getting them pierced or healing, and they healed perfectly. So when I decided I loved earring around 12-13, I was all set!
I once bought these super cute vintage earrings. When I received them they were clip on. I wore them for church but they were so painful I had to take them off even before I left home! Piercing your ears is less painful than wearing clip ons!!! My parents got my ears pierced when I was ten, so I remember.

We are not saying we invented clip-on earrings, we are saying we made them in modern styles, pain-free, 100% hypoallergenic, and ones that look just like pierced earrings. And while clip-on earrings have been around for a long time, it is still hard to find any in this modern style that is seen in both our prototype and our finished design, and it is even harder to find ones that look real, won’t trigger those with extreme metal allergies, and look just like pierced earrings. This is actually so good, I could finally wear earrings on my ears that won’t be irritating since regular ones cause allergic reactions and normal clip ons hurt.
For everyone saying that the prototype is a torture device, YOU'RE RIGHT. I've never gotten my ears pierced and wanted to try ear accessories, but they had those type of clamps. You can adjust the tightness of the clamps by twisting the knob but the edges of the tip is really painful when positioned incorrectly or when it's been pinching your ear lobes for a long time; many times you don't feel it, but ones you've removed it after a prolonged period of wearing it, the pain immediately rushes in. It's like constantly getting your ears pierced. What's even worse was they were ear cuffs, so the clips had to be pressing on my inner lobes.
Omg this is perfect!! I recently became friends w/ this girl who grew up in a religion where they aren’t allowed to pierce their body & she was telling me she would love some cute earrings but w/ out piercing her body!! I can’t wait to show her this❤️
It is the exact same design but with a more comfortable clip that doesn’t hurt, is fully hypoallergenic, and looks just like pierced earrings. There is nothing “old money” about the clip showing in such an obvious and fake way, our newest video explains this more and shows the difference on-ear!
