- This is the first of three videos covering the secure area at CDMX Benito Juarez airport.
In this video, I will show you the left side of the terminals secure area including a few places to eat and shop and what the gate waiting areas look like.

It really helps to be visually familiar with Airports... After making many trips to Frankfurt, Germany I became somewhat familiar... getting a rental car is CRAZY though when you don't speak the language. CDMX is a bit overwhelming the first time.. I am gradually getting used to it, but since I usually go to PUEBLA I totally LOVE PBC... it's Small and no question where to go for help! :) Gracias!!

Thanks for this video. I've only been to CDMX once. Arriving in CDMX was rush rush rush to get off the plane, find a bathroom and go through immigration, get our luggage and then transportation to our hotel. We didn't relax and take our time just move move move. On the return it was get to our gate and camp out until our flight was called. Your video shows me the importance of slowing down and realizing whats around you.
What happens when going through immigration is theor anything they ask for other that passaports? In July will be my first time flying and I'm going to mexico city from mexicali

Are there any ATM machines in the secure area? I have a connecting flight and I would like to get some cash out before I arrive to Cancun. Great video. Thank you for sharing.
Not that I know of
Forgot to mention to walk around with headphones ON or earplus as every 30 seconds thereare annoying loud speaker announcement of last minute hurry up boarding at every gate. Also watch out with the green security employees, seems like theirs a million of them just walking around with loud walki talkies on speaker. Hate waiting for a flight at this airport. There are no bar areas to just sit at a stool and order a beer. You got to sit down at a table(if you can find one) formaly and order.

If you fly in from a domestic flight (tijuana to mexico city) on terminal 2, do you arrive in the secure area?
We're flying from Cancun to TJ with a layover at this airport whats the process like flying viva aerobus worried about missing our flight.
They can take a long time. Be sure you have goo connection time

Have not seen video, just thought it was interesting this came up, cause I just landed from MEX on United. Which I believe was not this terminal but the one I was in, I thought it was hideous! It looked like some generic Bus terminal with a bunch of rows of seats that when people are seating on them, you simply cannot even go between the rows, you have to go around in a circle. And Btw only ONE Toilette for like 10 gates! It makes me wonder what is Mexico doing with the $85 dlls per person they collect for "Airport taxes".
