Game Over theme from Gradius, based on the arrangement found in MIDI Power X68000 Collection ver2.0.
So for whatever reason, the original composer decided to sequence their own version of Also sprach Zarathustra (Space Odyssey, anyone?) before getting to the original game over theme.
