one of the best tech presentations ive seen, concise and to the point and not overly technical, thanks Andrew

One of the best videos on data compression; it contains very detailed and easy to understand examples that can be used in implementing a new compression method, such as combining two or more different algorithms, based on the content of file. In other words, this video is inspired. Thank you, sir!

It's 2021. I have a 256Gb microSD that's about the size of my smallest fingernail. And yet, '.tar' is still a data storage identifier.
I used 'tar' quite often on a UNIX system in '78 because the evolving content of text files on its 8Mb of online disk storage had to be "swapped to tape".
    Ah, sweet nostalgia... 🙂
Really enjoyed the clear, concise presentation... Thank you!

I actually did a dictionary-less compressor for log file, with some data loss.

I want to make one but I don't want to waste my time on that.
