Thank you for doing this comparison video Yana. I own Chocolate Greedy but don't find it to be one that I wear too often. I like this idea of comparing the Montale and Mancera lines. I enjoy a lot of Mancera's and currently own 15 bottles. My favourite is Black to Black followed by Instant Crush and Velvet Vanilla. My first Mancera was Prestigium Gold and I loved that so much I had to buy another and then another and so on 😂 Thanks again for this. I remember when you did a video on Mancera a long time ago where you covered a whole lot from the house. I found that video very helpful too😁

Chocolate Greedy smells like soft Toll House chocolate chip cookies to me. I don't like it, smells synthetic and cheap to me. Out of the dozen samples from Montreal that I've tried only one was bottle worth for me. I've had a much better experience with Mancera. Thanks for the video.
@@Tommelise I feel the same way. I'm sure there's more Montale fragrances that I like. They just have so many fragrances. The only way I'm able to smell them is if I buy samples. I definitely can't afford that. Great video thanks for the reply.

Also have pure tonka by Mugler...I'd say it include a lot of things for me...it's a cup of sweet coffee and also hot milk with cookies and sometimes it has chocolate aspects.

I get compliments on chocolate greedy and roses Musk like no other ppl complain about Mancera and montale but I love their fragrances ..Gonna try chocolate violette
So.. I had a sample 5-6 years ago of Montale, didn't like it on me smelled like beans with chocolate, but loved it on my friend. And 3 years ago I bought Mancera and I fell in love, however im not in love with it anymore lol its too hazelnuty for me ( i guess any kind of nuts in perfume are not my thing), barely smell chocolate, but I do smell violet and its too strong for my liking and vanilla

Hey Yana, came here just to finish my review :p I already tried Choco Violette several times since last week and I have to say... I simply love it. Performance is on par with Mancera, it sticks to your clothes for days. Projects for about 3/4 hours and then calms down but leaves a good trail behind you and a arm's length sillage as you move. I like all the stages of the fragrance. It opens very hazelnutty, and then after 5 to 10 minutes the chocolate becomes the star of the show for the next 5 to 8 hours. During this period it's like 50% powdered cacau, 30% creamy vanilla, 15% hazelnut and 5% violet. That violet reminds me a lot of Insolence from Guerlain. It's amazing. After this the vanilla starts evening out with the chocolate until after many many hours you get this amazing creamy and nutty vanilla drydown that sits closer to the skin but it's still noticeable as you move and leaves a trail as well. I was concerned it might be too feminine or sweet but I think it's quite unisex and not too sweet at all. I simply love it. Overall very pleased with the purchase and it will definitely be on rotation. It already got me so many compliments from friends and family. Let's see how it performs in the club. @@joelmarquespereira8872 my nose is getting used to it, for first couple of days i didn't like it , violet was very prominent and felt that it's a more feminine scent, i tried to sell it but pulled back intime just to give it a one more chance i am not confident enough yet to wear it casually but i know one thing that it is very well hidden fragrance and wil seperate you out of the crowd.

I am afraid of chocolate perfumes but find it entertaining to hear about! Do you buy from any discounted retailers online in Europe and which ones? Doesn’t seem to be as many deals here in Germany as in the US.
I blind bought Chocolate Greedy and was hoping it would smell like Choc Violette but to me it doesn’t at all! Chocolate Greedy starts to smell like creamed corn after 3 minutes! And loses all the chocolate. To me there is LOTS of violet in CV, and the chocolate note remains throughout the wearing. I wish I hadn’t gotten CG. To me CV too is a bit weird because of the violet note.
@@Tommelise I have samples of both and just bought the FB of CV. I'm overwhelmed by the violet in CV, all I smell is violet which I love but can't handle more than 2 sprays, it's overpowering on me. How funny that you don't smell the violet, I get mostly chocolate, then violet, then hazelnut :)

Can you compare mancera roses vanille and montale intense cafe please? is it worth to get both fragrances? i already have roses vanille but hesitating about the intense cafe 🤦🏻♀️

All i get in Mancera choco violette is the hazelnut note and absolutely NO CHOCOLATE what so ever . And i get a very flowery dry down. This by all means smells NOTHING like choco greedy at all. Choco greedy smells like chocolate and coffee. I hate Manceras choco violette .

To me Mancera is a bit more refined and smooth. Montale is full on power😘

Choco Violette all day. Way more sensual and less heady compared to Chocolate Greedy.
I haven’t smelt either of these, unfortunately. My favorite chocolates are Al Rehab Choco Musk and Angel Muse. :)
