I am from mumbai, such hoardings are on the highways, roads above the buildings and in residential area, its in fact everywhere in the city . ideally no hoardings should be allowed at all for display , small or big to anyone you never know what falls next on ur head, people who agree give a thumps up
I am lawyer and I was in fact a part of the matter before the Bombay High Court which gave directions regarding illegal hoardings. It is really unfortunate to say that despite the Judgement, despite Orders passed in that matter, today no body gives a flying fuck about it. There are no repurcussions. no follow up on that matter.
I lives in Canada since 10 years. I never ever see any hoarding. During elections, you dont see any party's members face in hoarding. You dont feel its election time even. Here parties spent very less in "prachar-prasar" not like in India. I believe all political parties has lots of money and they misuse them during elections not for development...I feel shame as a Indian citizen

Being someone born and brought in Mumbai, I have seen such cases and failures of government several times. Sometimes I feel there is no value of our life in India. Last week 3-4 cases happened where people fell from local train and lost their lives. Media is busy convering elections but what the solution and where this will take us as a country? We need to be very vigilant and ask questions to the government.

I am a common public. Due to Nitin Gadkari work, now I can travel to kolkata by world class highway in 1hr 30minutes from my place which use to take 2hr 30 minutes.

Bmc is now no more in Mumbai so PPL will complain to whom?. 2.5 yrs bmc election didn't happen cuz bjp didn't want election. The commissioner has been controlling bmc since 2022. There is no mayor in Mumbai.

@@apooru241 population of what? Mumbai's leagal population who lives legally in houses is just 1.4 crore. Bt total population is 2.25 cr and another 30 lacs live on roads footpath. Bihar has fetality of 3.1, up has 2.2, jharkhand has 2.1. north states making babies and sending their kids to other parts. 63 lacs north Indians stay in Mumbai bt only 16.5 lacs have voting rights. As in Mumbai to vote u need a leagal house or living in Mumbai for 10+ yrs on rent in leagal house. Or if anyone living in slums then that slum should be govn, sra recognised. Bihari/up PPL come Mumbai as rent is cheaper in slums. 1rk rent is 15k bt in slums rent is only 4-6 k where 6-7 PPL live in single house. Just 2-3 states ruining whole india lol

Much needed video!!... Mumbai is financial capital of India... But with worst public Trasport system, unnecessarily hoardings ( even in Pune also).. Poor sanitation... Any political party government coudnt fix it... 😢 I'm marathi, but don't have that much of money as well as courage for living in Mumbai.
Talk about migrants coming from other states. They are the real issue that affecting to transport system and other things. Every city has it's capacity to handle people Mumbai has crossed it's limits it has no more land left to spread. Better we should look for stopping population migration in Mumbai

Just 10 km away from the disaster, is LBS road where there are corporate offices and IT parks and 1000s of people work there, a political roadshow is being held tomorrow, where all the roads leading to these offices will be closed off. Posters of politicians have been plastered all over for this roadshow not thinking how people will get to their workplace. The irony is that politicians will do a roadshow to ask for the citizen’s vote while causing inconvenience to the citizens themselves and that too just a few kms away from this disaster.
