Went on it yesterday and the driver left and was like "imma use the bathroom". It terrified me as it was my first ghost Train and I have a fear of everything that was in there.
Went on at the Halloween event last year and it was amazing! Going to be a pain to keep up the staffing with Actors but it’s a bloody brilliant train and very unique. Awesome video, is it open for good now?
@@RollerGhosterStudios I think the actors should be replaced with animatronics. If there was less/no need for actors Destination Z could operate all day each day of the season. Destination Z isn’t reaching its potential with only evening openings. Funland Hayling Island should get John Wardley involved. Wardley is fantastic at creating animatronics. Wardley was the man who bought animatronics to the UK. Destination Z is the most unique Ghost Train worldwide. This is as you literally go round in a train. I’ve never been to Funland so can only comment from what I’ve seen online,but the theming in Destination Z appears sparce. I don’t know what you think but I find the backstory hard to grasp. I’m not saying Destination Z is the worst Ghost Train as this title goes to the now defunct Ghost Hunt at Ocean Beach. This being said a little more theming and a simpler backstory would improve Destination Z.
@@georgekoshti_richman1392 The props inside Destination Z are hand finished by the world leading horror prop company called Distortions Unlimited. I have a great relationship with them and have to say that they are the best in the business. Funland is a tiny amusement park so it's unfair to compare Destination-Z to any bigger attractions.
Seemed like the best part to me. The whole thing has great productions values for a lower budget amusement park but there are always limits on how real you can make your props. Using darkness and sensory overload with loud sounds on the other hand can work at every level.

what this? A themed ghost train? One that have a theme and not a bunch of random animatronics plastered all over the place (Looking at look trimper)?

Yeah definitely, it was really nice to see the actors inside. It's open at peak times on the evening sessions now which is really good!

What was happening during the dark section with the siren?
It was just darkness & suspense at that point while the finale sequence was being activated by the driver.

I would say it's one of the best Ghost Trains I have ever been on, I absolutely loved it!
