It really sucks how many matches will never get the recognition they deserve because of the fact Benoit was in them. Not that I disagree with it, but I feel like a lot of people had some of their best matches with him. I hope concussions continue to he taken more and more seriously as time goes on.

I know Big Show's turn in the Team Cena/Team Authority match is often lumped in with the many random Big Show turns, but it's the turn that makes the most sense because Big Show guaranteed that he would be on the winning side whatever happened. If Team Cena won, he also won and by joining The Authority mid-match, he would have kept his job if Team Authority won instead of being fired.

Goldberg vs. Brock was absolutely PERFECT. To me, it was like another match on the list, the 2003 Chamber match with Shawn Michaels winning the World title. At the end of both of those matches (14 years apart) the same word popped into my head when their arms were raised: Redemption. To add to what Dan said about the Goldberg/Brock program not needing the title and how it completely ruined the even better story of the JeriKO implosion. Agree with all that. But it also had a hand in changing wrestling history because Jericho lists (ha!) that feud being demoted as one of his reasons for leaving to go to New Japan. As much as I dislike that Chris Jericho is still taking airtime in 2023, it’s hard to deny that he had a part in the (as Cody says) revolution that followed. He will always be AEW’s first world champion… Let’s just pray he’s not their last…
Lesnar vs Goldberg is a memory with my friends im never forgettting. 5, 20 something year old men turning into kids in a moments time and my friend Edwin just pissed off as the biggest Bret Hart fan/ Goldberg hater.
Dumb take and objectively wrong but my favorite match ever, not just at survivor series, is survivor series 2000 Hardys and Dudleys vs Edge, Christian and RTC. It's a short match with an incredibly basic story but that match is the reason that I love wrestling

Goldberg vs. Brock was absolutely PERFECT. To me, it was like another match on the list, the 2003 Chamber match with Shawn Michaels winning the World title. At the end of both of those matches (14 years apart) the same word popped into my head when their arms were raised: Redemption.
To add to what Dan said about the Goldberg/Brock program not needing the title and how it completely ruined the even better story of the JeriKO implosion. Agree with all that. But it also had a hand in changing wrestling history because Jericho lists (ha!) that feud being demoted as one of his reasons for leaving to go to New Japan. As much as I dislike that Chris Jericho is still taking airtime in 2023, it’s hard to deny that he had a part in the (as Cody says) revolution that followed. He will always be AEW’s first world champion… Let’s just pray he’s not their last…
Lesnar vs Goldberg is a memory with my friends im never forgettting. 5, 20 something year old men turning into kids in a moments time and my friend Edwin just pissed off as the biggest Bret Hart fan/ Goldberg hater.

Dumb take and objectively wrong but my favorite match ever, not just at survivor series, is survivor series 2000 Hardys and Dudleys vs Edge, Christian and RTC. It's a short match with an incredibly basic story but that match is the reason that I love wrestling
