Sometimes I think Tony is a fascinated with Genie as Luke is with Laura. I think it's part of what makes their chemistry so awesome.
I know TG looks at GF the same way Luke looks at Laura... I have always thought that when watching this.
Love seeing the genuine affection and respect they have for each other.
GF today is still beautiful and adorable...with her light and pleasant voice...and Luke is still fine as wine...sharp as a tack...they seem like nice, likable folks :-)
You two created the most believable, beautiful couple and love story EVER. And considering the fantastic nature of your story lines over decades, that’s an amazing feat; which speaks to the breadth of your talents.
I started watching GH in the Rec room at college with a group of die hard Luke and Laura fans. I’m old now and watch before I go to sleep because I still love seeing you act together. What an art!
The original Lucky has joined you two as one of my all three favorite actors. But it was both of you, your talent for acting, that made us all believe in the power of imperfect love. We’ve all known an old couple who pulled such a bond off in real life. You did it for all the world to see jazzed up a little. And real or not, we still believe. God bless you and many thanks.

I like how Genie refers to her character in the third person. I loved the 90's. They were and always will be the best on tv. Ever.

@sussezq I so totally agree with this. I've noticed that, too. At the end of this special I had tears in my eyes.
It's amazing that Genie was positive about her experience. In other interviews she is some-what resentful. This truly for publicity of the 25th. Later Genie is mad that they refuse to make her independent.

@MrsLukesotherlaura One thing that I have noticed is that GEnie Francis ALWAYS talks about Laura in the 3rd person. I have never heard her refer to her otherwise.
@sussezq I agree as well, love their mutual respect and frienship with eachother.
I didn't like the Ice Princess story. It was too 'out there'. Now the Left Handed Boy story was great. Very exciting. Very real. Genie Francis...geez....she was and is one of the most BEAUTIFUL women on this planet, past, present and future.
I don't think those emotions mutually exclusive. I am generally happy about my work, but at times I think things should have been handled differently. I don't think it's amazing that ms. francis was positive... I have heard many of her interviews and most are positive... but she does seem to have specific issues, which seem understandable to me after being employed since she was 14, which she wishes were different.
How did Luke & laura get hooked up with the cassadines ?
