What is Hytale? Hytale is a game inspired by Minecraft made by the Hypixel team with a goal to make a new, yet familiar gaming experience. Hytale was acquired by Riot Games in 2020 and is expected to come out in 2025

No matter if you love or hate all of this, you HAVE to be happy when seeing others so happy about something. I get so joyful seeing people so happy. I wish that for others, its more and more uncommon now adays
I mean, this game sounds more like a platform than just a game, like Roblox, but more appealing in a way, I would wait years for something like this, specially since the devs doesn't seem to be coping, they are fully at hard work in silence, like a master blacksmith in a pilgramage towards making the best blade of their life, and possibly history
That's what they are going for. They are essentially making Minecraft, Roblox and Fortnite creative into one game. And including a full modding system and engine built in. They aren't making just a Minecraft killer, like everyone said when then trailer released. But a full on contender for one of the biggest games of the decade if not longer.
Honestly.. Not even bummed Z4 is out for now. Means the game will come put quicker and the other zones will be more polished. Not a bad idea.
Sounds like they're getting closer to the Alpha and Beta tests.

A Myne video?? In this economy?? Cannot wait to watch videos overanalysing the Christmas postcard again assuming its in engine which i suspect it will be as if they've done this one in engine they must be getting close to showing us some more images of the new engine!

i relly want to play this game but how many years does it take to make a game playible ive seen indie games get relesed so fast. i dolnt want to wait 3 more years
I personally believe we may see something towards the end of next year or the start of 2026. The least we can hope for is more communication or previews at least.
There are many reasons why the development for Hytale has stretched further than originally intended.
Before the trailer Hypixel had been developing the game several years without public knowledge. When they released the trailer they were not expecting the trailer to go viral like it did. With more people's eyes on them than they could've hoped for they decided that they needed to raise up the project up to audience's expectations.
As a result they started by shelving the old engine they made Hytale on originally and made a custom engine made just for Hytale. Most of our waiting since the trailer has been them building that new engine.
Now this year they said their new engine is finished and now they can focus on adapting the game into the new engine.
So in short they had to remake the game on a new engine so they can deliver on what the trailer promised and more

Hytale RUclipsrs recapping the exact same “news” on the same day, the exact same things…atp I’m so tired of waiting, if we don’t get a beta release date, a trailer, or at least new gameplay (actual gameplay) I’m so done with this god damn game, 2025 is literally right around the corner making it 6 years since the trailer and 8 years since the start of development, I don’t care about the engine rewrite, just give us the damn game, or at least give us wayyyyyyy more communication.
This game gonna have same ending as ksp2. it gets released, with lack of content and bugs, road-map is gonna release and then development gonna be canceled as no one plays that ass game
