Even though game runs 4k at playble framerates it's far from what pcs can do resolution scaling is too low for this game on mobile at 4k you can't see it naked because screen is so small for you, mirror it on a larger display and you'll see how mushier and detail less the game looks because of those filler pixels. idk what engine is used to make this game but mobile vulkan games are inferior to directx 12 because dx12 games are expected to feature higher resolution textures and complex shaders etc since it is intended to play on a monitor not a handheld just for your info synthetic benchmarks uses different scoring standards across arm gpus and nvidia or amd gpus as instruction set is entirely different so we cant directly compare the benchmark scores but what we can somewhat compare is the gflop (how much operations a gpu can crunch in a given time) as this will give us somewhat an understanding of how far apart these gpus are and still it's not a fair comparison because of the differences in microkernel architecture to the ms kernel and instruction sets and this number is so far apart that mobile gpus are a joke so don't make shitty comments saying yaay this gpu run xxxx game at 4k60 as it's a dumb undertaking 4k at mobile is so silly compared to the real 4k I mean why you think there's still no games like far cry or gta 5 is not on mobile I mean if your phone has the power to run 4k 60 fps and out perform pc gpu It might as well be possible to make such games for mobile and gta 5 is a decade old game even if at some point those games get released on mobiles it doesn't matter as 10 year old games are not that much of flex to argue against a 1050ti lol 😂 don't fall for silly marketing such as dogshit mobile ray tracing which will only work on some shitty demos and "4k" gaming as it isn't the same as a pc. Only a limited number of games can be made in such a way to fool people for 4k and genshin is perfect for that in every way and I am lazy to type explaining that shit to you as there will be some kids whining in comments so may somebody learn something from this
Mobile SOC's are still weaker then PC processors and gpus but even running those graphics need power so i can only say just don't underestimate arm based chips. You know what im saying right?
@@GOOD_FARMER what I'm commenting about is how some brains think snapdragon is comparable to a 1050ti and that's stupid and I am clear about my opinion above. I am not under estimating arm cpus but saying the truth
@@CRANKKKyeah, 8 gen 2's Adreno GPU is still below the 1050, but it's rare to see that a mobile-based gpu along with ARM's cpu is performing very well. Only time will tell if we can finally see mobile cpu/gpu's outperform some desktop cpu/gpu, but for now that's still unlikely to happen
Due to PPI on a small screen it wouldn't be as noticable on device itself, going to 1080p on those screen sizes would be sufficient
In fact 720P on those phones Look Okay. Kinda.
You only need higher resolutions if you have big display. 1080p is enough and beyond that you wont see any difference. 4k is just marketing gimmick and won't noticeable in small display like smart phones
@@jcm2789 yep i agree
We just need 244 Hz phones these days broo, 1080p is more than enough
He is just testing...
That looks really good! Can you make a full guide about how to do it?
What are the GLtools settings that you use??
I tried but the game gets smaller and moves to bottom left corner
Same he changed Resolution change method to manual but after manual there are many boxes to choose idk which one
@@Calm_Gamesame,did you guys got the solution ? My phone has Mtk D8100 cpu.

My gaming Laptop is definitely crying in this one
If we compare this whit a desktop gpu what is the potencie and for example what is the diferencie from a gtx 1050ti
Why you're recording/uploading the video on 30fps while doing a performance video/demonstration?
Man, not HYV gatekeeping this because of their deals with apple -.- also still no controller support on android.
yeah hoyo is greedy af.
We need good games on mobile platform. Games like elden ring, Fifa, skyrim, red dead redemption 2 with full conteoller and mouse keyboard support. Or else this power is meaningless. Mobile games are terrible in general.
More of money making machine than a game for people.
You won’t believe it, but they don’t do it because no one will play them in fact, if they release the same skyrim on smartphones, everyone will run it, they’ll be surprised and won’t play anymore in the end, it’s just not cool. It’s like with iphone 12 mim that everyone wanted but no one bought it, people don’t really know what they need
Lol rather play those game on my pc or console than play on smartphone bcuz i use them only to surf internet bro.
idk Genshin are amazing enough
not to mention, Mobile game are far more succesfull than any platform in general
The quality and graphics of the game if it is Max. It differs between phones, for example poco f3 and mi12
I wanted to re-watch this as the 8Gen3 is right around the corner.
Now i wish genshin is more optimized on android now, just look how crap the trees at distance

Xiaomi 13 display has 2400x1080 Pixels mean 2K resolution. is that support 4K on Genshin-impact ?
The game system had been given 4K for Mi13 user our display can show totally 4K resolution on genshinimpact?
wonder if you have plans to review the a34? I am curious about the spec data of exynos1380.
this is complete bullshit bro
That exynos is trash compared to dimensity 1080
Eagerly waiting for Xiaomi 13 Pro!
Mind I ask you what settings did you choose in the Gltools app to make the game run without graphical errors?
I managed to install Gltools and managed to change the resolution, but there are some graphic errors and the game does look sharper but unplayable.
What a performance 😑 compared to my phone damnit I want it.
Right after geekerwan doing the same thing dropped on his english channel..
What settings did you use on manual resolution setting? For me it glitches a lot
Did you figure it out?
@@madeggs5008 Nope, I have a Pixel 6 Pro, tried everything, no luck, maybe Tensor things

Can't wait to see the test of the Samsung S23.
1440p is a go to reso + cooler 👌
1440p 60fps on redmagic 8pro with built-in fan. I hope someone will test it

The red magic fan is curve right ? So its not flat in the back of the phone ?
Will you bring the Red Magic 8 pro soon?
I hope Hoyoverse adds more graphics options for mobile, such as render distance , resolution multipliers (render resolution) or anisotropic filtering like PC
I’d rather enjoy 1080p with better graphics than 1440p with same ol’ mobile graphics
yeah same
actually 2K is sweetspot for 8 gen 2.
sadly android doesnt support controller on genshin like on ios does.
i like android better but play using controler feels better on genhsin tho we can use costum maping there still the buttons gui on the screen ,its been years even skip dialog isn't implemented yet bruh hope hoyo change.
This feels so wrong 4K resolution with a small screen 😓. If you guys playing game on 4k just played it on PC
I wanna try this out now, but at 1080p or even 900p, ik iOS runs it at 800p so 1080p should be fine no?
I remember until the generation of the Galaxy S6 I rooted it as soon as it came out of the store, with the S7 I didn't have the need to do it even though I missed GLtools...
I think with 1080p resolution it would be ideal for a smartphone, a video running at that would be great.
PS: native 720p I hate it in the game I see blurry even if it's small screen
So smooth. But mobile version can't escaping the lag even just small detail.
This is nothing but a wild dream on samsung flagships.
That's 1440p 58FPS or 720p ≈230FPS if the game wouldn't CPU bottleneck.
My poco f3 have sd 870 too and it's a beast
Does that phone have a 4k screen? Most phones AFAIK don't have a 4k display so it doesn't matter if the phone is powerful, you won't be able to see that difference
Without taa antialiasting and Motion Blur looking better, since this messing around with higher resolution.
Damm Nvidia Should Be Worried. 4k 30 fps on a smartphone
Hey, how's the display quality of this xiaomi 13 ? Is it as good as samsung super amoled display? And does it play netflix in full hd with hdr? please let me know

You can play that without modification because the game is already have high end graphics and in 720 recording you didn't even enable anti analyzing

Im using highest setting in my ipad pro at 120Hz….the real question for android users….how fluid can your fps get at 4k resolution.? Because it doesnt seem smooth even at idle.
If we use magisk or any other app to max the CPU performance all cores at Max frequency
What will be the performance then?

The game uses the GPU, CPU has little impact.
@@WhiteCat20569 what if we gpu overclock tho 💀
@@-MrEVIL- idk how much you can push it with adequate cooling
Its still a test demo. Realistically it can't run all the areas and fights and map renders on constant 30 FPS.
Also you have to keep it mind the battery.
I bet for this showcase the Battery percentage dropped from 100% down to 40% coz CPU was max power.
For the time being, its possible! But not practical.
That said Genshin is a very CPU dependent game. And phone CPUs are actually getting crazy strong. Im pretty sure in about 10 yrs Genshin can be run 4k smoothly with constant 30 FPS practically.
can you change the rendering distance to be further with that tool? one thing i hate playing on mobile is the rendering distance is too short, plus it takes longer time to complete it. so when you run with yelan, it causes lag, since the app hasn't completed the load.
Someone told me that this is a problem of the API used in the mobile version of this game (OpenGL), and to solve this, MIHOYO need to change the API to Vulkan, and make the adjusts needed
@Antonio Cordeiro thanks for the info
a constant 30 on 4k is insane what
Bro I give up on Genshin for Android. No matter your hardware, this game never runs at 60fps on Android, it always drops to 40fps and it's variable and annoying fps. Also, the game has no controller support. Mihoyo is unfortunate not to have put support for controls on Genshin on Android, for those who play Genshin on PS5 and PC playing on Android is a TORMENT.
Because genshin impact favorites apple so much or apple paid genshin impact
It don't make sense when other games that is not optimized for both but both rum the same games like genshin impact Roblox or "optimized" on iphone
But they just unlock the fps for iphones and not the others
And plus the devs don't unleashes the whole power of the devices chipset
i really want to see you play at 1440p 120 fps with cooler on device that has 1440p screen and gen 2 chip. please make a video like that 🙏
Can you do 1080p 60fps on redmagic8pro without external cooler if your going to review it in the future.
How did you start Gltools above 10 android

Will my account get banned from using gltools for genshin impact?
Nope it's like using gi tuner you won't get banned if you only change the graphics details like resolution and msaa
It has nothing to do with Genshin account. It just changes the resolution of screen. So you won't get banned
Sir can i get the settings of gl tools??
If you run Genshin Impact at 2K it’d cost of power consumption as same as the Pro version?
Just curious because I like Flat displays so I don’t want to upgrade to the Pro version

That's not how it works
Samsung just manufactured it, they didn't design it
It is actually a different processor with actually different main core and GPU
I know it's a test and 4k on phone is a waste, but hey, it's time the android version should have native rendering resolution of 1080p now, though that's perhaps locked to only a few phones.
Could you try testing Warzone Mobile with that processor?
