A few useful tips: 1. You only get the "fix stuff in storage" later for 65 omens. Once the upgrade is purchased it unlocks a storage tab and only the stuff in that storage tab will be fixed. 2. While this doesn't apply for anything else that I've found yet, you can always get a "perfect" bonus for fuel even if it isn't on the fix list. It isn't a lot but it is 12 per ship and it adds up. 3. When you start learning how to fix rebreathers the manual actually lies to you a little about the trees. It only requires 3 trees to have a working rebreather. With that being said when you are working on a ship with a fully functional rebreather you can bum some trees off of it without getting dinged (you can usually take 2) you can then store those trees. This makes it so when you do have to fix a rebreather you can use the trees you stored without paying for new ones from the shop. 4. Sometimes you can find cards hidden in places you wouldn't normally look inside of in ship modules. A couple examples are the inside of a fully working oil module or under the maintenance area of a fuel module (inside the screwed down panel). 5. If you see reactors... be incredibly careful and work on them first. Note: Coolers are a part of a reactor. 6. Any broken part in multiple pieces (pumps, heat sinks, spinners, heat filaments, etc) can be fixed with a welder. If I recall correctly it is 175g. Note: I would recommend buying the encoder and pancake stacker first. 7. If you go back to the main menu you can restart the day with no consequences when you continue the run. Generally speaking the job rnd is the same. 8. You can keep the cartridge with the tomfoolery module. It got deactivated because you accidentally restarted the level.
Thank you for the tree tip! I had a good run going but my first ship after 2nd RENT had so many missing parts I ran out of money, having a couple extra trees would have been great.
@@Ronin11111111 a useful piece of information is that you can go in debt with no negative repercussions so long as you make the money back by rent day it isn't that big of a deal. I've actually purchased the welder on day 1 before. Unfortunately that wasn't all that useful in that particular run but could be at some points. From my experience day 3 is the best day to get the first shop expansion, welder, sidecar, and money tree.
a couple more tips -If you have to fix reactor + fuel module usually the best aproach would be to remove the reactor core so you have more time to work on fuel + cooler. -Buying the electric wrench as it is by far the best time saver between the two tools -Buying the force field ASAP -You can also get accolades (bonus for perfect repair) for the focus on the identification module AFAIK
regarding the security system im pretty sure you can press the green button (maybe the red one idk i forgot) and it'll give you more time (i think only if it isnt going off already) and of course you cant do it as much as you like you still will need to "hack" it again if you take too much time
@@Demmizz Yeah I gotta agree. Especially the VR section feels extremely repetitive after a few runs. Learning how to work each module and reading the manual is by far the best part of the game. I absolutely loved doing that.
@Demmizz I was thinking about this just now. I haven't watched Tylers' other videos on the game yet, but why is this a roguelike? I feel like it would make sense as a story game that gets more complex over time but idk why youd wanna play this a bunch of times?
Alright, good job on the security system ship...but have you considered reading the whole segment after the initial reset. My man could've just reset the timer with the push of a button xD Also, you can totally remove the cartridge from a Tomfoolery Module after completion, just don't hit the button to restart the game, and leave it on the winning screen. Even more profits.

I'm so torn, I really like watching you play this and figure it out when I also have no idea what's going on, but at the same time I really want to play it and figure it out myself. Either way, this game looks really fun.
3:38 You almost definitely wouldn't want to use water to put out such a fire the only fire that water would put out on a burning vehicle is combustible fuel, assuming that these rockets fly on something similar to petroleum. The oil, batteries, electric fires would all be classes of fire that cannot have water used to stop the fire. Depending on what is burning (for example the batteries) it could be hot enough to separate the oxygen and hydrogen making up water and cause an explosion spreading molten debris.
The alarm system is actually insane. I didn't figure out you could look at multiple rows from top to bottom to decrypt. So I usually just tap rapid rerolls untill an easy pattern emerges. Then click the button on top that resets the timer before it hits 0
