After watching rug tufting videos I think that I'm confident enough to give it a try, I was going to pay someone to make rugs for my children but now I'm going to make them myself.

Curious why after shaving it down with the sheep shears that you also shaved it down with your carving shears. I'm not talking about the carving itself but when you were flatting it more.
thank you so much! I use 8-ply acrylic yarn without brand on local market. I think it's easy to find in any country ^^ I have some video with all tufting processing, you could watch it to see my yarn clearly

I use clipper to shaving after using shearing machine because some small areas that shearing machine can't work well
