Apparently bike lane goes south on 2nd and north on 1st so at fault in the accident. Love that feeling of a near death. Wooo what a rush!

It is totally bananas to me how people will yell at you if you ride your bike the wrong way. Where I'm from we ride everywhere and anywhere as long as you don't impeded traffic
When you live in a city where bikes are used by a lot of people you are supposed to follow traffic when there's no bike lane. I live in the suburbs but I have to work in the city and it's entirely different.
If you get hit by a car while driving the bike, I think that is the definition of impeding traffic. Like he literally is.

To Be Fair... The cutting across 125 St in Harlem is not the entire island of Manhattan. Although it narrows a bit, Manhattan stretches up to about 220 St, so you missed about a 100 blocks or so.
