Because she hated her "normal" life. She thought she herself as a person was so boring she wanted to be greater, she made a fake personality and life for herself the life that she wanted. She changed her name and even her accent (it's a French accent). The main goal in her life was to be unique so she changed everything about herself despite being gorgeous the way she already was.

Her intelligence was up there with Byakuya and Makoto. I felt betrayed when she murdered as I wanted her to survive, but still love this character
