I went to the Potters House regularly from 2016-2018/19. After I got out of that church, I found a notebook from that time where I had taken notes from the sermons. What was wild is that *none of them made sense*. Not one was biblically accurate, and it was riddled with eisegesis. It was sad to see that I was being misled for those years and thought I was getting prophetic words and deep messages. I have been attending a doctrinally sound church for the last few years and I understand the Gospel more than ever.
Thank you for clarifying what is going on. Others come to mind, using this technique to build crescendo in their messages. Furtick and Todd sound exactly like this answer it justifies their following. Plenty of fancy words and theatrical moves… but no substance or conviction. May God bless your ministry.

He is an orator, but he is no teacher of God's word.
He is a great orator, give him grace for growth, he’ll be promoted to another Ministry and so it is, was and so it is today three months later. Stay prayerful for the church in general. Give me a script and I can orate it just as effectively.
