looks fantastic the chin strip is a great idea when the front is up it looks like one of those flip up/modular motorcycle helmets haha very cool, cant wait to see it painted maybe a foam armor set to go along with it?
Hi Melinda, thank you. The flip up and chin strip are the same as the scout original helmet. The scout foam armor build is my next build. Thanks again. Cristian
Yes will work but it's not recommended if you want good finish. Always better and recommended contact cement. The list of material is included in the item details on the Etsy product.
Hi, sorry, I only sell the templates, I don't do kits, pre made parts or full costumes. Contact me StormtroopTemplates@gmail.com if you want that I send you contacts that uses my templates to make consumers for you.
Hi, you can use all 8mm in the helmet, but there are 2 trapezoids with originally 5mm that you can make also with 8mm, that's the only difference. Tell me if you need more info. Cristian
@@bluemando-o9k Only you can use hot glue before glue or before join with other piece, you cannot heat over the hot glued unions. I do not recommend using hot glue. Use only contact cement with foam. Tell me if you need more info. Thanks for asking. Cristian

Hi Hugo, I use a contact cement from my country, you cannot get it in yours. So I suggest use Weldwood Contact Cement - DAP or Barge but I have never used them, so I recommend that you try and choose the one that works best for you.Try to get one that is quite liquid and dries quickly. www.dap.com/products-projects/product-categories/adhesives/contact-cement/weldwood-original/ www.bargeadhesive.com/products.html
Looks amazing, I will definitely be purchasing both templates for the helmet and armor. One question, what thickness of foam did/would you recommend for the build?
Hi, thank you! I mention all the thickness of the foam in the video, but mainly is 8mm and a little piece of 5mm thickness foam. Thanks for asking. Cristian

is their any other glue that is less toxic than contact cement. I'd rather use something that's not super toxic.@@StormtroopTemplates
@@bluemando-o9k No, sorry, I recommend to use the appropriate protection for that.
No other glue works fine with foam.
