You stared into those eyes for 14 years, it would not take long to realise that they remind you of Angela!
As normal as I would want Deveney to be, I can't forget what she did, even killing a woman. Fascinating storyline. I really want to hear the behind the scenes story about this character and why they never brought her back. I've read things, but not from the horse's mouth so to speak.
Regardless of how it turns out in the end with Angela/Deveney that interaction between her & Thorne which can be described in a number of ways like Thorne being naive, it reminds me how being kind to someone can change a situation or in some cases help change a person's world. One's act of kindness may not solve world hunger but at least it was not words or an act that helps push someone over the edge.
As they say love conquers all.....remember angela was someone Todd picked up not sure if she had parents but am sure she had a hurtful pass.....yes she is handling things the wrong way but maybe the right person showing her genuine love could turn her around....
Such a rare moment where Stephanie is in the mood and Eric is not.... the rest of the serie Eric bases his other relationships precisely on Stephanie' s "constant lack of interest"....
I do recall Eric telling Stephanie he decided to stay married to her only to keep the family together but that there was not going to be romantic involvement on his part, he made it clear and even though Stephanie was disappointed bc she thought he left Beth and chose to stay for the love he has for her, she still agreed with the whole compromise. Stephanie in a very old episode made it sound like she was sort of frigid, so some days she is into but most days she is not affectionate, loving or horny lol.
I thought I would miss the old Thorne but this Thorne I am already starting to like. He has a strength the other Thorne did not have. The kindness he displayed to Angela was so touching and believable. You could see Angela was not expecting this…never having experienced this type of love…undeserving and quite beautiful.
I agree, I like the genuine warmth and kindness that this Thorne brings to the role. He is just so likable and doesn't have the creepy vibe the first Thorne had. And I agree he comes across as stronger and less needy.

What a riot watching silly old Margo creeped out by a painting of Caroline, of all people! And I thought it was still a portrait of her mother, but now comparing to an earlier episode it is indeed different. I suppose whilst hoping to pick up Donna or Margo, Bill decided it was in bad taste to leave his late wife over the mantle and replaced the pic.

I'm confused. On the first episodes, I thought that the portrait in Bill's house was supposed to be Caroline's mother. I thought that Bill and Caroline would look at the portrait and talk about Caroline's mother. Now the portrait has turned into Caroline? Maybe they didn't say it was Bill's first wife and I took it for granted that it was since they were talking about her.
The Bells always had a thing for portraits, didn't they? (we later had Stephanie's portrait, Maya's, Quinn's....). Margo feels again threatened by that portrait of Caroline. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if Caroline wasn't staying with them.
It is difficult with portraits. They are just so very dominant. Caroline has been cold and hostile with Margo from the start (questioning her love for Bill) and that portrait of Caroline is also kinda cold (dark), so Margo might feel reminded of Caroline's hostility. The portrait of Bill's wife (I think in ep 33 we saw it quite well) had been warmer (apricot dress, Marion smiling more). But I don't think that Margo would have been much happier really to be constantly confronted with Bill's dead wife. I think a father should have pictures of his child/ children up, but I wonder if it wouldn't be better to have enlarged photographs (maybe Caroline when they celebrated her first "eyes on fashion" edition, or Carline when she graduated college...) up on the wall and not a drawn portrait.
