That's eye opening, thank you! I've been using texture brushes for my lines and was doing color art by hand, that technique with the rendered drawings might help me!
I think if you click on that button "apply to all frames", select all the lines and click on the button "Create Color art from Line Art" it might work!
I got a question I made the lineart of the animation in the Overlay Art layer (I made the sketch in the Line art, I thought this way would be faster to animate) So I changed the source layer to Overlay Art, activated the "Perform Line Art to Coulour Art Operation Immediately", and click Ok But It changes nothing, it doesnt create the selection, and it doesnt save the configuration I just did (the source layer still appears like Line Art) So I dont know what im doing worng here.
It's not creating invisible strokes by any chance? If you press K on the keyboard with the colour art layer selected, does it show with anything? If not, then best bet is to join the Toon Boom Discord and show a video of what is going wrong.
@@LucasSaturn Apparently, Essentials is the only version that doesn't have this tool. I'm kinda disappointed because I just got a job as a colorist and I need to use this tool. Wonder if I can upgrade.

Glad it was helpful!
It helped me a lot! thank you so much!!
is there a way to configure line art to colour art for the whole scene instead of doing each frame one by one

Is this tool exclusive to specific versions of Toon Boom? I have the Essentials version and I can't seem to find it.
It's not in the tool properties window either? Unfortunately don't have a copy of Essentials to try right now

@@NessWithABeard That's a shame that Essentials doesn't have it as an option! You can definitely upgrade, but still a shame to find out.
@@LucasSaturn Well, if it means doing my job the way I'm supposed to, might as well.
why my create color art layer doesnt transform all the strokes on line art layer?
Not sure I understand the question?
how can I turn off the color art from line art option?
What do you mean by, "turn off" the option? That action only occurs when you click the button.
