It gets me Robyn had NO issue going on 11 days. None! Yet when it came to Kody going to his daughter’s life changing surgery he couldn’t go because he couldn’t leave his family for more than two days. Such bullshit this is why you really need to watch the recaps at the end of the seasons because Christine does confront Robyn in issues like this.

The cameras on the honeymoon would be rough if a) they were virgins and b) if they had never done the marriage act with each other. We know that A isn’t true and a lot of us believe B isn’t true. In fact, I think the OG3 just gave it away here that they believed K & R were doing it, all of it, with the talk about trust. So sad for the OG3.
Healed my way out of my family, friends and marriage as well. Generational trauma is a bitch y'all. Healing is so worth it, no matter how painful though - nobody regrets healing. I'm grateful every damn day that I grew enough to see how toxic my relationships were, and how much happier I am as a result of that clarity. Thank you for talking about this! Timing is everything, and getting married at such a time with Christine giving birth, shows they just didn't care. From day one it was all about K & R. After that nobody else mattered. Not the sister wives, not the kids. No one.

I moved to another state to raise my kids. My children and I are healthier without them. You don’t have to be Mormon to experience disjunction. 😊 I am a caregiver too. Two marriages where I lost myself taking care of him. I can’t seem to break the pattern I was trained to be from childhood. I swear I have a sign above my head that says “I am a caregiver. Narcissists welcome.” At my age I am happy being single. 😊
I really appreciate your inside perspective. I have family members that have left a cult & I was able to offer them a safe place to land & heal & learn how to live outside of the cult. I hope teaching us about this cult is healing to you in some way!
I agree with you about Maddie & Caleb. He didn't do anything wrong, but he gets treated terribly by the fan community. They can't help it if they had natural chemistry when she was too young to date him. The important thing is they didn't get together until she was older and they seem very happy together!
I feel like they should have done an 11-day family vacation and him stay with Robin the first four to five nights and then get alone time the first four to five days then as a family like you said divide up the rest of the trip so each woman gets special time

Logan and aspyn were both so parentafied that when aspyn didn’t go on a trip they all acted like they (the adults ) couldn’t parent or function without her and that made me think of my childhood growing up (I’m the oldest of 6 kids but I have 2 older half siblings as well but at 12 I had to start making dinner after school taking care of 5 younger siblings it’s awful. I was just grateful not to do that to my kids

Kody, on the other hand, is the only father to 18 children. Kody also works outside the home, and it's not possible to have been able to give all of them enough individual time as a parent.

I love your psychology takes. I studied psyc for 6 years, and I’m interested to hear what you think about meri/Leon. I believe Meri exhibits borderline traits, and is abusive towards Leon. You’ll see when the whole catfishing (affair) goes down and Meri does lots of gaslighting to Leon. Behind scenes, Leon was dragged to meet a stranger from the internet, and was forced to hide the affair she knew about from kody. Meri later enlisted kody in the gaslight. She also gets way dysregulated and is highly manipulative. I’m healing from narc/borderline abuse myself so you takes are interesting and relatable!
Kody has never known anything about any of his kids. As his kids got older, his seams were less and less interested in them. Kody don't remember their birthday. He doesn't know how much pain Ysabel is in and keeps pushing her to not get her spinal surgery. Ysabel waited over four years because Kody kept putting her surgery off. Gabe is crying because his dad calls and fails to wish him a happy birthday. Truely sick setting on the floor, and all Kody says is she has no fever. Truely, kidneys were shutting down. These are just a few things.
Janelle isn't a single mom because she had Christine available to help until Flagstaff. Christine was more of a single mom, but Janelle helped financially.

Poor Meri, I’ve lived in Wyoming for 12 years now and I can’t think of a worse honeymoon than a road trip to a ranch in Wyoming in the winter. Don’t get me wrong, parts of the state are beautiful ….but the roads here in January are just brutal….virtually impassable at times. I mean they regularly even close the interstates down for days.
I lost my 14 yr old son luke to suicide in october and i see him and saw him as a child still though of course he was gaining more responsibility at school and having more freedom with his friends. His impulsive tragic mistake shows he was just a kid with big feelings.. 🥺 breaks my heart to imagine the burden a 14 yr old boy in that situation would feel. RIP Luke Aaron our bringer of light 2/10/09-10/4/23
There are some crazy massive things in those interview episodes. I don’t remember if the ones after the first season are some of those, but please do watch them. For example, Cody said he was grossed out by Christine early on bc she ate nachos on a road trip while she was still chubby. His words. It was so horrifying. She was right there.
You make a beautiful point of how things could have been shared more by dividing up time for the honeymoon. For the same amount of money (or close) and shown reconnection with each of his wives. As ypu will see, Robyn never sacrifices for the rest of the family throughout the show and this is why I think she gets so much hate/vitriol.

Robyn and Kody were selfish from the very beginning. How can you get married when you have a wife who is pregnant/just gave birth? How can you go on a honeymoon (I don’t care how long) when you have a wife who just gave birth (remember she miscarried the year before) and going through postpartum? I will always dislike Robyn and Kody because they are selfish, inconsiderate people.
I really like this, however sitting and watching your face for 2 hours is too much. At least show us what you are watching. (Maybe in a small window at the bottom?)
I hope you reconsider watching the recaps. You miss a lot of things and different thought processes of what certain situations are like how really upset and truths that come out.

Robyn and Kody were selfish from the very beginning. How can you get married when you have a wife who is pregnant/just gave birth? How can you go on a honeymoon (I don’t care how long) when you have a wife who just gave birth (remember she miscarried the year before) and going through postpartum? I will always dislike Robyn and Kody because they are selfish, inconsiderate people.
I really like this, however sitting and watching your face for 2 hours is too much. At least show us what you are watching. (Maybe in a small window at the bottom?)

I hope you reconsider watching the recaps. You miss a lot of things and different thought processes of what certain situations are like how really upset and truths that come out.
I think Robyn has been manipulated from day one. I think her I will have Kody call them is to rub it in that he's with her for 11 days.
I know imma catch $hit for being mean saying this, fine, I can live with that… but it’s so hilarious that Kody thought he married this 10 years younger trophy wife and she looks the same age now as the OG 3 lolol. Shows you what being married to a Kody/pologamy will do to your stress levels and aging process. That being said, I don’t think a person’s value should be looks based, seems apparent that Kody did.
