The audacity of this boyfriend is beyond me, he talks down on someone who is working hard, he sounds like a toddler. Some man boys have guts. And the fact that women endure this nonsense all in the name of love is beyond me.

I'm so glad Angel (in Selina's voice) is getting more roles. She's such a natural 👍; just like the Peggy character. I just knew the Victor character was up to no good in his first scene where he flared up at the reduced amount Peggy gave him. I don't understand why some of these women get so blinded that they can't identify these opportunistic sorry excuse of men.

But this kind of movies are misleading young girls and women,the storyline could be that Peggy saved some money from the job she was doing at the restaurant and opened her own restaurant and became rich,not that some man came and liked her and brought her some restaurant owning documents without her even knowing,encourage our women do things for themselves not depending on men to do it,in today's world nothing happens like that, even your real husband cannot open a big business like this you act in your movies,and also that Ashley was depending on old men to take care of her needs? there are good girls out there,if young girls watch episodes like this they will think it's just OK to eat from old men,you could just say Ashley was doing a successful business and not harlot,the movie could still be sweet,but at least this one had no some crazy maid and gateman

That's another dimension they story could have taken. Though, it's also not out of place that her husband supported her to open her own business. Good and well meaning guys can do this as seen in this movie. It can also happen in real life. I have seen like one or two.

Oh yes. This is a winner. Now this is how to teach young women to recover from a bad relationship and move on positively with her life. Ujams is so calm yet manly and strong when needed. He doesn't have qualms about being the kind of man who is firmly in the corner of his woman. It's refreshing. Ekama, Peggy, is a role model for a modern woman who is clean about her life. She works hard, keeps a beautiful home, loves honestly, but is logical and smart about letting go of a disappointing past to embrace a positive and bright new start. I felt proud of her myself. I also admired her roomie and best friend for always being in her friend's corner and telling her the truth to ponder in her own time. That rude tramp Ivy really played her part well lol. Both of the friends are two beautiful young ladies who look fresh without the crazy eyelashes and makeup. Now if only the wigs could disappear! I hope one day soon, women will recognize the beauty of their African hair and stop enriching the Asians and Europeans by buying and wearing that mess. The hair on the crazy sister-in-law looked as wild as she was acting. I loved the ending where whatever happened to Victor was of not even enough consequence to show. The old-fashioned word for that kind of leech was cad. Also the manager of the restaurant played her unpalatable role well. Surely no one wishes her well. I give this film an A+ for story, quality of production, sets, costumes, continuity, sound, music and acting. Thank you all.

What a lovely movie, when they spoke about reservations in a restaurant, I genuinely thought they were going to her former place of work. Imagine my disappointment when the movie ended there ...... Lovely movie anyway.That victor guy Sha, it's his audacity for me.... holding her cash and spewing thrash when he was the bigger failure. Girls really need to wise up. At a point, I was even swayed by his prowess, I was like fine mayb he loves her nd wants the best for her, I later came back to my senses and saw him for the thrash he was, that scene where he was shouting abt the cab. I love the connection between her and d second guy, I love how they didn't even realize that they had fallen in love. Love takes time and process and I loved how they went through that process..,. This movie made me smile all through. Kudos guys.... But some guys na leach Sha. Imagine spending d little d babe earned and still telling her thrash.
