Personally, I've become so distanced from the scene, so much so that I hardly ever listen to the music. Partly due to my own personal stuff and life being so hectic, and partly due to the issues Solo expresses here. A lot of people in the music scene I blindly trusted just to be deceived when it suits them. People who take what they can, but don't want to give anything back when it's their time to. The toxicity of others eats away at you. Some days I wish I jump right back in and finish the tracks I had half done from several years ago, but I know how outdated they all are. Perhaps at some point I will. I've got a couple verses in the works for people I know will always have my back, and I'm keen to get them done.
