The V10s are a once in a lifetime experience in real life. Nothing can prepare you for the sheer scream of the high-revs and having seen them on Spa, just the screams in the distance on the other side of the track is just awesome! My absolute best memory of seeing F1 live was in the V10 years. It was not just seen or heard, it was FELT!

v10's or at least the v8's have to come back. the v6's don't really sound bad. but how can you beat this.... every kid that tries to do a race car does this....
The sound!!! It's just so soothing to hear the roar of a classic F1 car with a V10. I agree with you guys that they should bring these V10's back, but with the modern technology borrowed such as turbocharging and hybrids, so that besides having this sound back, you have blow-off valves and electric motor whirring, which also kind of makes it sound like a jet about to take off, while having a whole lot of horsepower (maybe double than what this car used to run, like perhaps 1500+hp) which can allow for faster and more extreme races, even faster than 230mph. This way you can resurrect the old while bringing in some of the new. However this will likely be costly to develop and extremely risky for drivers as they would have to stuff themselves in the increased speeds and added danger on the track. Only one can dream though...
The sound is such a big part of motor racing! F1 Is a shell of it's former self purely because we don't have this V10 wail or the slightly more blunt sounding V8 anymore 😢 we have a poxy 1.6 with a huge turbo bolted on and batteries 🤮🤮 talk about ripping out the soul 🤦♂️🤦♂️

That mid-range RPM (maybe around 11-12000) sounds so awesome!! That shapes it up to sound so brilliant for the higher range.
