So basically rich negotiated a guys car away from him he knew that wasn't a fair race he just wanted to get the show over with. I wouldn't be happy if the host of the show negotiated my car away knowing that other dude was sand bagging. Everyone knew after watching the first 2 races that the Oldsmobile was loosing that last race. If he got 16 lengths on that 3rd race it would have been fair

Watching these early episodes of pinks is like watching armature porn from the 70's.
This race was a joke, both so slow the combine in the background could give them 10 car lengths and beat them.

This was a bad episode that Oldsmobile shouldn’t even have been allowed to even be on the show. That car was slow and had no chance without a lot of lengths but overall very bad episode. When you have to ask for 20 or 30 cars you should just take your car back home!

This was literally one of the first shows ever produced. At this time the show wasn’t even on TV yet. This was shot in Iowa and these two racers were from Rich’s hometown area. To get anyone at the time to race for titles was almost impossible. But you have to start somewhere and without these shows and racers there would be know season 2!

Wtf. Automatic is the only way to go. Shifting with a clutch is in the stone ages. Big gear high stall and electronic shifting. The biggest problem was it is a 90 horsepower family car with no modifications
Back in the day racing was done on a standard transmission. Automatics take the fun out of it.
