My thinking is that because we all grew up with Eddie as Eddie the man who wears women’s clothing and because even when they present as a woman they aren’t very convincing of what we would typically consider a women it’s really hard to see Eddie as a women. Someone like Buck and Nikita I have no preconceived notions of their gender and from a look they clearly come across as how they identify so I have no issues seeing them as such but Eddie is a little more difficult.
They look convincing but if you take away all the hormonal treatment and body modification, Buck is still a woman and Nikita is still a man. The lengths they go to in order to change their appearance doesn’t change their underlying biology. Like I said, people should be able to do what they want. It’s their body and their life. I just have a problem being told I have to accept their delusion as reality.
