Another great video. I am constantly lifting my plants to see if they need a drink. With this deep freeze making the furnace run continuously, they are drying out fast. Beautiful gloriosum!

Watering is very important especially right now in the wintertime. The midwest./northeastern states and other places got hit with snow, bitter low freezing temps which brings our heaters to run full on day/night and the humidity in the house in the 20's. I know with my own plants they are needing a good soak once a week now. Can't wait for the deep thaw new week and lots of rain to melt the snow:))

Very informative and to the point! I do find that the one downside of moisture meters is that you can damage the roots with them. I try not to push it in deeper when I feel resistance.

Many thanks for sharing this information. Occasionally when I use my moisture meter I bump the button accidentally while cleaning between watering each plant, This can give me a false reading. I’m now in the habit of making sure the button is all the way left to the moisture side of the meter. I’ve learned through my mistakes what not to do and to use the visual cues as much as I use my meter. 🙂. I go by pot weight a lot as well. The plastic grower pots make it easy to feel the difference! Many thanks for all these reminders. They’re all very helpful! 👌🪴🥰

If you don't care about the "light" meter, you can just buy the moisture meter only. This is the one I have, and it's good because there is only one prong, so you are doing less damage to the plant roots.

Watering my plants as I listened to your video. I have both a single probe and a double prong probe and I like the single probe the best.
