I never heard Mogul Thrash although I knew about them because of the John Wetton connection. Brian Auger also has a number of albums to his name under the Oblivion Express banner. Looks like he produced the Mogul Thrash album so I guess he was already a name by the time the Mogul Thrash album was produced.

I had never heard of this group either. I gave your playlist a full listen and thoroughly enjoyed it! They remind me somewhat of the band If, another British jazz rock/progressive rock group from the era. (Have you ranked If? Please add if you haven't.) Very fine stuff from Mogul Thrash!
