I'll never understand why the story seems to want us to think six is the bad one in all this. Really there was no reason to attack her at the end except for the fact that this being a linear game, there is just no other options given to the player. And they only get what they deserve after that if I am to be frank ._.

Actually there is even more to it! x)
In case you don't want spoilers I'm not gonna say how you make it happen but under a certain condition you can see at the and an extra scene in which Six is standing in a room after she came throught the TV to escape the tower
And you can see in the room with her some sort of shadow version of herself, the same that appears when she eats the gnome during the first game
So it means she's hungry, and she knew she was going to attack and maybe kill Mono to eat him if he made it through with her ^^
