This bit was incredible. You've solved all the trials, ignored ELOHIM's promises in favour of climbing that interesting looking tower, and now the world is collapsing around you as the voice of the world's god pleads with you to stop. Yet you still press on to the top, all with the help of an AI willing to sacrifice itself just so long as SOMEONE gets out.
Only one program could ascend to become the final AI program. That was the point of the simulation. But is he truly gone if his sacrifice is remembered by us...the ascended?
@@AAw3s0m3 On point. What makes it all gone if it still resides within the memory of just another machine (which we can also consider a critical thinking person at this point)?

No human words can express my feelings while listening to this music. All I can certainly say is that I have constant waves of shivers covering my whole body, while also feeling that I'm flying very, very high to the distant sky. It's like you're participating in something immensely great, the lifework of the whole civilization. Truly Damjan is an amazing composer, he always gives my life an epic and sacred meaning ever since I first heard his music about 12 years ago in Serious Sam. What a great feeling this is! One of the most beautiful gaming experiences i ever had was watching the thunderstorm tearing up everything around me during the final ascent in this incredible game, the music steadily increasing as the world was reduced to nothingness.
How could someone make such an unbelievably beautiful music? I think this is nearly impossible for human to create something like this, unless... Damjan is God himself or has an unique Heaven's gift?!

Very good work with this one. I love it. Just keep up this awesome work Just a question: What is the music called that plays when you fall into the hole/pit/whatever in C1?
Out of curiosity, is there any reason why the CS:GO version of the Talos Principle soundtrack is in a higher pitch than the one from the actual game? They both sound great but substantially different.
The song is just great that is a bit of a shame that the song had to be designed to go based on how slow you are against the time you have available before dying to the cloud storm of Elohim. A good way to do it would have been if you program it so the song progresses as you climb instead, though I'm not a game developer so I don't know how complex would that be.
Damjan do you have any idea what music plays when you find that easter egg in a cave, the form of a prism that projects a rainbow on the ground. There's a very cool track that starts playing there, and only 1 time :'(
+tudy000 It's my tribute to Pink Floyd, and this prism is a reference to their album "Dark side of the moon", which is one of overall Croteam's favourite albums ever
tudy000 It's not part of the soundtrack, like many other tunes that are used on specific occasions in-game. You can rename .gro files in your Talos installation folder to .zip files and unzip them and get all music you want

The stars just unlock an extra ending, which is, IMO, the least satisfying one.
That as well as unlocking 3 tips on the puzzles, which too are not very helpful.
