Hello everyone, I am extremely interested in this wonderful song. I cannot find any evidence of it as a folk song, if anyone knows anything at all about it, could you post a reply? Perhaps the uploader has some information. I am an ethnomusicologist and musician myself and I am researching cultural music. All I can figure out about this piece is its association with Crimea, but I am at a loss to even begin with translation, and which language/dialect we are dealing with here.
İts probably from the ALTAİ language strain. Yet it sounds more like TURKİSH (so you know the difference between turkic and turkish, turkish is spoken in turkey, whilst turkic is spoken in kazak, kyrgyz etc.) Yet it sounds its mixed with the slavic language. This probably happened with the byzantine empire. This language is just turkish with polish mixed words and accent.
Actually this is not a folk song, it’s a poem and it has an author. His name is Fatih Karim, a tatar poet of Soviet Russia (wounded and died during World War II in 1945). The language is pure literature tatar (not a crimean tatar dialect) spoken by Volga region tatars (mostly in Republic of Tatarstan, capital town Kazan). The name of song/poem “Yaz jite” is translated as “The spring is coming” and commonly known as a kids’ song.
@@thegreenmage6956 Verse 1: The Sun is smiling down at us Shining in the eyes Drifting towards seas the rivers Bearing broken ice Chorus: The spring, the spring, the spring is coming Open windows up Meltwater falling from the roof Drip, drip, drip, drip and drop Verse 3: The white tall birch be covered up All green just in a while And blooming flowers all around Will bring us May meanwhile Chorus: **the same** Originally this song contains of 3 verses with the chorus after each verse. Извиняюсь, я ошибся. Вы имели ввиду караимов. Неужели у караимов есть такая песня?!
Karaimi nie znają tej pieśni. Ta pieśń pochodzi z Finlandii z lat 50. Chyba tam została napisana w tęsknocie za ciepłym domem.
Вы ошибаетесь, это не народная песня и имеет автора - Фатыйх Карим. Он татарин родом из Башкирии.
