As the others, interesting video. I find bugs fascinating. Zicrona caerulea (or many Scutelleridae, but we don't have those where I live) have a nice metallic color which make them look like a beetle. Many Membracidae have absolutely crazy body shapes. I also like the bugs which nymphs mimic ants (a common thing among arthropods).
One thing you could have added is a little talk about bed-bugs, which are indeed bugs. And the smell. I don't usually smell insects, so I don't know if other insects smell too, but I do know some Hemiptera nymphs have a very particular smell. I couldn't say if I like it or not, but I remember smelling it again and again. Almost addictive.

Thank you! Yea Hemiptera was so hard to boil down into a short video because there's so much to talk about! I look forward to covering some more on them, a bedbug video definitely needs to happen 🙌

There's a chrome extension called byrdhouseapp.com that can auto translate youtube videos and livestreams. I believe it is a paid subscription though. RUclips also has an autotranslate feature but I am not sure how accurate it is. Let me know if there is something else I can do on my end to make things more accessible!

Had some water skeeters show up in my 300 gal Rubbermaid tub. They were able to breed. Started with 2, I have more than 10 now. They were even eating fish flake.
Should expect them to disappear in the winter?

Haha you've got your own little population goin, they are pretty generalist so makes sense they were making do out of what they could find!
