Thanks for making these videos! I’m really enjoying learning about all these fascinating animals. Your videos are super helpful for my learning style!!!
As the others, interesting video. I find bugs fascinating. Zicrona caerulea (or many Scutelleridae, but we don't have those where I live) have a nice metallic color which make them look like a beetle. Many Membracidae have absolutely crazy body shapes. I also like the bugs which nymphs mimic ants (a common thing among arthropods). One thing you could have added is a little talk about bed-bugs, which are indeed bugs. And the smell. I don't usually smell insects, so I don't know if other insects smell too, but I do know some Hemiptera nymphs have a very particular smell. I couldn't say if I like it or not, but I remember smelling it again and again. Almost addictive.
Thank you! Yea Hemiptera was so hard to boil down into a short video because there's so much to talk about! I look forward to covering some more on them, a bedbug video definitely needs to happen 🙌
Had some water skeeters show up in my 300 gal Rubbermaid tub. They were able to breed. Started with 2, I have more than 10 now. They were even eating fish flake. Should expect them to disappear in the winter?
